This will only be characters in chapters that I have written, or chapters that I added one of my own to.

Sam Fletcher:

Age: 21, Status: single (looking, but not actively).

Sam is in his third year of studying psychology. He's fairly social, but usually keeps to a small group of close friends rather than big groups. He's lost contact with most of the other people in his school year group, but there's a few he's kept close with, a couple of those share some of his courses at uni.

Kate Francis:

Age: 20 (birthday in 2 weeks as of moving into the flat), status: single (not really looking).

Kate is in her second year of philosophy. She got into the same flat as Sam using a "flat roulette" system, hosted by one of the halls of residence for those who can't find an open spot by themselves. She loves hanging out with those she already knows and trusts, but really struggles with meeting new people. Throughout her teenage years she struggled with constantly having people leering over her, which mostly put her off meeting new people.

Chelsea Marsh:

Age: 47, status: married (22 years)

Chelsea is the owner of Sam and Kate's flat. She and her husband own a few houses, all rented out to uni students. She doesn't make much money off them, but she does it to help lower student rent prices, however slightly. As of the start of the story, she has never cheated on her husband, although she has entertained the thought a few times. Her only child is her daughter, who just started at the uni this year.

Lara Gray

Age: 29, status: married (3rd anniversary the day the story starts)

Kayla Price

Age: 30, status: married (3rd anniversary the day the story starts)

Lara and Kayla have been fast friends since early primary school. They did almost everything together. As teenagers, they both came out as lesbian to each other first, and both had disapproving parents on the topic. Through their early 20s, they had a very unofficial and well hidden "friends with benefits" relationship to avoid things turning bad with their parents. Eventually Kayla decided to make things official, and they became an official couple, and got married soon after, with more (but still not total) support from both families than they were expecting. They are currently on a holiday celebrating their anniversary.
