Chapter VIII

The next day you spend the entire day in the cage. He gives you some food. Cleans your wastes (luckily the padding is made of a material that's easy to clean). On top of that you get several hours every day when the straps aren't locked. But that's it. All you can do is to be in the cage and endure being locked up.

The next day the same happens.

And the next.

Strange, but going through this makes you drawn to this life even more. There is a lot of pain. You are helpless. You have absolutely no idea what will happen tomorrow. But there is a type of joy in it that you didn't think possible.

Perhaps a slave's life is worth living after all?
