Chapter Two: The Conversion

By the time Penny had finally made it back to hers and Leonard’s apartment in Pasadena it was nearly 2am as she walked through the door.

Leonard was away at a science conference for the week and Penny had the entire apartment to herself and Sheldon was also away with Leonard at the conference as well.

The alien's voice grew quieter as it focused on the impending arrival of Bernadette, its tentacles retreating deeper inside her to allow her to act more naturally.

Just then there was a knock on the door and Penny’s heart raced as she knew it was Bernadette.

“Coming!” She called out trying to keep the tremor out of her voice as she opened the door.

Bernadette’s eyes widened as she saw Penny’s disheveled state and the bruises on her face despite the makeup she had applied.

“Penny, what happened?” she gasped, rushing in to give her a hug.

Penny felt the warmth of her friend’s embrace, and for a brief moment, she almost forgot the alien’s command.

But the creature’s cold touch on her mind was a stark reminder of her new purpose.

"Thanks for coming, Bernie," she said softly, guiding her into the dimly lit living room.

Bernadette's eyes took in the scene, noticing the open bathrobe and the hint of lace peeking through.

“Penny, are you okay? What happened to you?” she asked, a mix of worry and curiosity etched on her face.

“My audition fell through again and unfortunately on the way home I crashed into a tree to avoid a deer that’s all”

“Can I get you something to drink?”

“That’s terrible Penny I’m so sorry you should have called me earlier”

“I would have come and helped you” Bernadette replied with genuine concern in her voice.

“It’s okay really I just needed to be alone to process it, but I’m really happy you’re here now.”

“Plus it was only a few cuts and bruises nothing to worry about”

“Did you want that drink?”

Penny’s expression had also changed from a look of horror to seduction.

The alien’s voice was soothing as it spoke through Penny’s voice as it regained control of Penny’s mind once more.

“Penny whatever this is you need to fight it”

The alien’s tentacles grew longer and more aggressive as they reached out towards Bernadette.

“Sorry Penny can’t answer the phone right now” as the alien laughed using her voice as Penny.
