Chapter Six [The Secret Diary: The Counterfeit in the Women's Toilet, the Crisis in the Alley, and the Clumsy Knight]
May 25th, 2:00 PM (Comic Con Day)
I practically fled into the corner restroom of the venue.
The inside of my tight-fitting latex suit was already incredibly slippery, and the sticky liquid made an embarrassing sloshing sound as I walked. If I didn't deal with it soon, it would probably run down my thighs and stain my expensive white techwear boots.
The women's restroom was crowded, mostly with cosplayers touching up their makeup or adjusting their costumes.
I found the innermost cubicle and locked the door.
"Huff..."
In the cramped space, I leaned against the door, trembling as I unbuckled the tactical buckle around my hip. The flesh, reddened from being constricted, was finally released, but I didn't feel relieved; instead, the contact with the air made me even more sensitive.
I took out the wet wipes I had prepared beforehand and painstakingly wiped myself. Each touch of that swollen, engorged clitoris sent a jolt of electricity through me. This body was so wanton; just being watched made me this wet.
Just as I finished dressing and was about to leave, a commotion suddenly broke out outside.
"Hey! Are you a man? Why are you in the women's restroom?"
a sharp female voice shouted.
"No...no...I..." a timid voice protested, sounding androgynous but clearly lacking confidence.
I curiously pushed open the door a crack.
At the sink, a cosplayer dressed as Rem in a maid outfit was surrounded by several girls. The "Rem" was very pretty, with exquisite makeup and slender legs, but up close, her slightly protruding Adam's apple and somewhat large hand bones gave away her identity.
She was a cross-dresser.
"Security! A pervert went into the women's restroom!" someone shouted.
The cross-dressing cosplayer's face turned bright red, tears welling in her eyes. Finally, she was dragged out in a sorry state by the pointing fingers and the security guards.
I stood in the stall, coldly watching this scene.
A twisted sense of superiority welled up within me.
How pathetic, such a cheap imitation.
I adjusted my wig and makeup in front of the mirror. In the mirror, every single hair and pore exuded perfect femininity. Even if I stood naked in front of them now, they would only marvel at the perfection of my body, and would never doubt that I was a man.
This is the difference between a "succubus" and a mortal.
I swaggered out of the women's restroom, even brushing past the girl who had just reported the cross-dresser.
"Wow, that fluorite cosplayer has such great style..." the girl was still exclaiming to her companion.
A mocking smile curled at the corner of my lips.
If you knew that the person who just brushed past you was even more "perverted" than that cross-dresser, I wonder what kind of expression you would have?
By 5:30 PM
, when I left the convention hall, it was already getting dark.
I changed out of that eye-catching latex outfit and back into my casual clothes—a loose white T-shirt and denim shorts. Although they covered most of my curves, my bare legs were still dazzlingly white in the setting sun.
I didn't take the subway, because the crowded environment might make me lose control again. I chose a shortcut through a side alley to take a taxi back to my apartment.
Halfway there, I sensed something was wrong.
That feeling of being watched was still there.
I turned around abruptly. The alleyway was deserted, except for a stray cat leaping onto the wall.
Was that Old Wang?
I hadn't seen that guy since we shook hands at the comic convention. But the persistent look in his eyes convinced me that he was still watching me.
"Hey beautiful, all alone?"
Suddenly, three thugs with slicked-back hair appeared from around the corner. They had cigarettes between their fingers and were giving me a frivolous once-over.
"Wow, those legs are really long. Just came from a comic convention? Are you a cosplayer?" One of the guys, a blond one and the leader, whistled and blocked my way. "Hey guys, we were just about to go sing karaoke, wanna hang out?"
It's that same old story again.
If it were me in the past (as a man), I would probably just lower my head and walk around it, or if there were a lot of people around, I might even go up and argue with them.
But now, I am a "weak woman."
Although this body grants me superhuman strength (I could probably knock this blond guy flying with a single punch), I'm actually feeling a primal fear. Or rather... subconsciously, I'm anticipating some kind of plot unfolding.
"Get out of the way," I said coldly, trying to walk around them.
"Don't be so cold," the blond guy reached out to grab my arm. "I have a car, I'll take you home."
Before his hand even touched me, my body reacted. The bio-armor tensed instantly, as if preparing to retaliate.
Just then—
"Hey! What are you doing!"
a roar came from behind.
The figure that had been hiding in the shadows finally rushed out.
It was Old Wang.
He came running up, panting, and pulled me behind him, using his not-so-broad back to block the three thugs.
"Trying to be a thug in broad daylight, huh? I've already called the police!" Old Wang held up his phone, the screen showing the dial pad.
The three thugs paused, exchanging glances.
"Damn it, mind your own business." Yellow Hair spat, glared fiercely at Old Wang, and then gave me one last greedy look. "Consider yourself lucky."
With that, the three of them walked away cursing.
Silence returned to the alley.
Old Wang remained in that protective posture until he was sure the group was far away before slowly turning around.
He was covered in sweat, still clutching the camera hanging around his neck tightly, looking somewhat disheveled, even comical.
But in my eyes, he was actually... kind of handsome at that moment.
"Um... are you alright?" Old Wang looked at me, his eyes darting away, unable to meet my gaze.
The courage he had shown when facing the thugs seemed to have vanished instantly; he had reverted to being that ordinary otaku who blushed in front of a goddess.
I looked at him, a complex mix of emotions welling up inside me.
He was my roommate, the guy who used to fight me for the bathroom every day and talk about which girls were prettier. And now, he's protecting me like a knight in shining armor, now that I've become a woman.
The shock of this identity reversal is even stronger than the climax at the comic convention just now.
"I'm fine. Thank you,"
I said softly, this time not deliberately using that mature, sophisticated voice, but rather a slightly more natural one.
Old Wang was taken aback.
"Um... haven't I seen you somewhere before?" He stared intently at my face, the suspicion in his eyes rekindling
. "Your voice..."
Oh no, I was too relaxed just now.
My heart tightened, and I quickly took a step back, creating some distance.
"A lot of people say my voice is very common," I said, tossing my hair to try and hide it. "Thank you so much for earlier. You were... the photographer who shook hands with me at the comic convention, right?"
Old Wang, reminded of my words, seemed to recall the touch of our handshake (or perhaps the disappointment of not finding the mole). He scratched his head and smiled somewhat sheepishly.
"Ah, yes... I'm your fan. What a coincidence."
"It really is a coincidence." I smiled meaningfully. "To thank you for saving me, next time... I'll give you special treatment."
After saying that, without waiting for his reaction, I turned around and hailed a taxi that happened to be passing by.
"Goodbye, brave knight."
I sat in the back seat, looking through the window at Old Wang, who was still standing at the alley entrance, lost in thought.
His shadow was stretched long under the streetlights.
I touched my still-pounding heart. In that instant when he grabbed my wrist and shielded me behind him, I actually had a... urge to be hugged by him.
This body has not only changed my body, but is it even going to warp my sexual orientation?
No, this is just the suspension bridge effect. It definitely is.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my agitated emotions. But I knew that my relationship with Lao Wang could never go back to the way it was. He was like a hunting dog that had caught the scent of its prey; although temporarily bewildered, he would never easily let go.
This cat-and-mouse game was getting more and more interesting.
