Chapter 5: Lost in a Sense

Emma walked from the Arts Building back towards her Horizon Court. Or, at least, she thought she was. She got lost very quickly. She had no clue where she was going. Emma did not have a very good sense of direction.

She continued to walk around buildings she did not recognize and tried her best to navigate using her map, but she was not successful.

She eventually walked into a garden area. She was certain that this was not the right direction. She looked around, panicked. She was way in over her head. How was she gonna get home? Was she ever going to find her way?

A click of sandals hitting feet and pavement hit Emma's ears. She turned around, quickly seeing the source of the approach.

"It's you again," Liora stated calmly. "You look so lost..."

"I am lost," Emma panicked. "Can you show me the way out towards Horizon Court?"

"Yes," Liora claimed. "But, first, I would like you to take a walk with me."

Emma was a little confused by the request. This woman seemed rather strange. What did she want with me?

"What's your name?" Emma asked.

"Liora. And yours?"

"Emma."

"Emma, I sense that you are lost in more than one way. I wanna guide you. Help you grow into a beautiful flower."

Emma was a little scared of Liora; she was so cryptic. But she was also very intrigued; she couldn't help but want to figure out Liora's whole deal.

"Alright, I'll walk with you, Liora." Emma relented.

"Good. Now follow me." Liora stated, hand motioning to follow her.

"This garden... It's a maze..." Liora started, speaking without looking at Emma. "You want to get out, but you have to look at the beauty of the garden on the way there."

She stops briefly, smelling a rose on the side of the path.

"You are like these plants." She picks up her pace again. "You are currently just a bud. Low in the earth, looking to grow into something beautiful."

"You fear this journey, though. You resist it. You get scared when your heart races."

Emma was scared but intrigued. How did she know this much about Emma? Was she stalking her? Is she some kind of seer?

"But, when the heart races, that's when growth happens. That's how we become who we're meant to become." She turns around now, facing toward Emma, looking straight into her eyes, placing a hand on her chest. "I sense it in you. A beautiful rose in there. You just have to let it out."

Emma gulped. She was freaked out. This whole thing felt like a dream. How did she get here?

"You will embrace it in time." Liora declared. "Now I will guide you out."

Liora began walking out of the garden, guiding Emma along the way. Winding and winding, Emma looked around the walls of the garden. What a nice and serene place with such beautiful flowers. Liora and Emma didn't speak a word or share a look; they simply walked through the garden, serenely, admiring the beauty.

Finally, an opening out of the garden arrived. "This is it. Your dorm should be just over there." Liora stated.

"I have a feeling that you may find yourself lost again..." Liora knew. "If you ever need further guidance, return here. I will show you the ways of meditation."

"Will... Will do." Emma said, looking out the passage, seeing her dorm just up ahead.

"Till we meet again, Emma," Liora stated with finality before walking off back into the maze of the garden.

Emma didn't understand what had just happened in that garden. Maybe that's the point. Just accept the path and enjoy yourself along the way. Maybe...

Emma walked towards Horizon Court, glancing back exactly once at the garden.

Emma took out her keys and tried to unlock her dorm door, only to find it already open. She opened the door only to hear Nicole talking to someone while sitting on her bed.

"Oh my god! Hey, roomie!" Nicole expresses. "Welcome to the show!"

Emma looked and now saw that Nicole seemed to have her camera on and a ring light on.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Nicole... I'll come back later," Emma said, turning back to leave the room.

"What! No! Come on, roomie, chat wants to meet you. I was just talking about you..." Nicole declared, running over to prevent Emma from escaping.

Emma tried to fight back, but Nicole seemed supernaturally strong, pulling her towards the camera. "I can't be on camera, Nicole. I'm not ready for it."

"No one is! All I want you to say is hi!" Nicole encourages, "Besides, I think my chat will really enjoy seeing a girl as shy as you."

Emma is finally brought over to the streaming setup, a tripod set up in the middle of the room, pointed towards Nicole's bed. She could see herself on camera and the chat on a laptop placed on a stool next to the tripod. Nicole trapped Emma on her lap, holding her in place with arms around her waist.

"This is Emma, guys!" Nicole declared. "Show her some love."

Emma looked nervous on camera, uncertain of how she should behave in this scenario. She looked at the chat and saw a flood of messages pop up.

PixelPunk99: OMG NEW GIRL ALERT!! Emma’s blushing is ADORABLE Give her a mic, Nicole!

CosplayKing22: Shy vibes = instant fave! Emma, strike a pose plz

GlowGirl_XO: Aww, day one? So cute! Welcome to the stream, Emma!

StreamSniper21: Newbie Emma = future thirst trap? Bet on it! Keep her on, Nic!

"Aww, see how much they love you, Emma?" Nicole encouraged, smiling at Emma. "You're so hot, they couldn't not love you."

Those weren't the only messages Emma read, though.

ThirstyTitanX: Emma’s shy look is HOT bet she’d look even better in a tight outfit! Nic, get her to tease us!

SeduceStream69: Those nervous vibes are sexy as hell Emma, give us a little spin, show off that figure!

LustfulLens88: "New girl Emma’s got potential, imagine her in lingerie on this stream! Nicole, make it happen!

Emma looked nervous.

"Oh, don't mind those chatters, they're just excited..." Nicole explained. "Plus, they're some of my top donors, gotta keep them happy!"

Emma blushed heavily, looking away.

"They have a point, though. I wouldn't mind seeing these in something a little tighter..." Nicole said, moving her arms from Emma's hips to ambush and grope Emma's tits for the camera.

Emma, caught off guard, enjoyed the groping for a second before remembering that she was currently on camera. With Nicole no longer holding Emma in her lap, Emma escaped the camera's gaze, running off to the side.

As she picked up her bag and ran off, she heard Nicole call, "Oh, c'mon, Emma. I was just screwing around..."

Emma slammed the door, immediately knocking on Raven and Chloe's room. Raven opened the door.

Raven leaned against the doorframe with her usual cool detachment, black eyeliner sharp and expression unreadable. Emma stood there clutching her bag, cheeks flushed from both running and the scene she had just fled.

“Rough night already, sweetheart?” Raven asked, voice low and lazy, like she had been expecting Emma to come knocking.

Emma stammered, “I… Nicole… she…”

Raven cocked her head, lips curving faintly. “She pulled one of her little stunts on you, didn’t she? Come in, before the whole hallway hears your heart trying to beat out of your chest.”

Emma slipped inside quickly, and the door shut behind her with a soft click. The room was dim except for the glow of string lights that crossed Chloe’s side, and the faint orange burn of incense on Raven’s desk. Chloe sprawled across her bed in denim shorts and a half-unbuttoned blouse, flipping lazily through a magazine. She looked up and grinned when she saw Emma.

“Hey there, freshie. What brings you into our den of sin?”

Emma’s throat caught. She wanted to deny it, say it was nothing, but the heat still clung to her body from Nicole’s hands and from the flood of attention on that stream. Her skin prickled with memory.

“I just… I needed to get out of there,” Emma admitted.

Chloe sat up, tossing the magazine aside. “Let me guess. Nix dragged you on camera? She lives for that. Thinks everyone’s as shameless as her.”

Raven chuckled softly. “You looked like a deer in headlights, I’m sure. Don’t take it personally. She tests people. It’s her way of seeing how far she can push before they push back.”

Emma nodded quickly, hugging her bag tighter, but Chloe slid off her bed and crossed the room with easy grace, resting a hand on Emma’s arm. “She flustered you, didn’t she?”

Emma shivered at the touch. Chloe’s eyes were bright, playful, but something in them burned hotter, as though she enjoyed Emma’s discomfort.

“I… I wasn’t ready,” Emma whispered.

“Of course you weren’t,” Chloe said, tilting her head, nails tracing lightly over Emma’s sleeve. “That’s why it was hot.”

Emma gasped, blinking rapidly. Raven let out a low laugh from her bed.

“Don’t tease her too much,” Raven said, though her smirk betrayed no real warning. “She’s new to all this. You’ll scare her off.”

Chloe’s lips curved as she looked back at Raven. “Maybe. But maybe she’ll like being scared a little.”

Emma’s body felt like it was made of static. Her pulse raced, heat pooling low in her belly as Chloe’s hand slid down her arm, catching her wrist gently. She wanted to pull away, but her body didn’t obey. She wanted to run, but standing there in the haze of incense and the glow of those lights, she felt caught, like the garden maze had followed her here and she had stumbled deeper instead of out.

Raven stood, slow and deliberate, crossing the room until she was beside Emma. “Relax,” she said, voice a velvet ribbon. “No one here’s gonna hurt you. We just like to play.”

Emma’s breath came shallow. “I… I don’t know what I’m doing.”

“That’s the fun part,” Raven said, brushing a strand of hair from Emma’s cheek. “You don’t have to know. You just have to feel.”

Chloe leaned closer, her perfume sweet, fingers brushing Emma’s palm now. “And if it gets too much, you say so. We’ll listen. Promise.”

Emma trembled, lips parting as if to speak, but no words came. Raven’s eyes gleamed in the dim light, and Chloe’s grin widened. Emma stood between them, dizzy with fear and anticipation, realizing that whatever path she was on now, it was no longer the straight one she had been raised to walk.

Her heart pounded louder than the silence.

Raven whispered, “So tell us, Emma. Do you want to keep running, or do you want to see how deep this goes?”

Emma froze, breath caught, her answer teetering on the edge of her tongue as the night pressed in around her.

"Let's try..." Emma said.
