Chapter 43: Quiet After of Storm

Chapter 43 by Maddy32 Maddy32

Dinner was quiet.

Elena, Edward, and Ana sat around the dining table. The food was good — Edward had made a simple but well-cooked meal — and on the surface, everything looked completely normal. Elena talked about her classes at the university. Ana politely answered questions about her studies. Edward mostly stayed quiet, occasionally adding a short comment here and there.

But underneath the polite conversation, the air felt heavy.

Edward kept stealing glances at Ana whenever Elena looked down at her plate. Ana, on the other hand, was acting perfectly innocent. She smiled when she was supposed to smile and spoke only when spoken to. No one would have guessed that just a short while ago, she had been on her knees in the kitchen, sucking Edward’s cock while Elena stood right next to them.

Elena, for her part, seemed relaxed. She had no idea how close she had come to walking in on something she could never unsee. She was still a little tired from the long day — the intense session with Max and David earlier, followed by teaching Ana — and she was just glad that the evening was ending without any drama.

As the meal finished, Elena looked at the time and frowned slightly.

“It’s already quite late,” she said, turning to Ana. “You should call a cab. I don’t want Edward to drop you every time. It’s becoming a daily thing.”

Ana nodded quickly. “Yes, Professor. I’ll book one right now.”

Edward didn’t say anything. He simply sat there, watching as Ana took out her phone and ordered a cab. A part of him wanted to offer to drop her again, but he knew Elena’s words made sense. He also didn’t want to risk another close call so soon after what had just happened in the kitchen.

The three of them waited in the living room for the cab to arrive. Conversation slowly died down. Elena scrolled through her phone. Edward sat with his arms crossed, staring at the floor. Ana kept glancing at the time, clearly eager to leave.

When the cab finally arrived, Ana stood up.

“Thank you for dinner,” she said politely to both of them. “And thank you for the class, Professor.”

Elena smiled. “You’re welcome. Be careful on the way home.”

Edward walked her to the door. For a brief second, their eyes met. Ana gave him a small, almost invisible smile — the kind that said we almost got caught today — before she stepped outside and got into the cab.

Edward closed the door and locked it.

The house suddenly felt much quieter.

Elena stretched her arms and yawned. “I’m exhausted. I’m going to take a shower and sleep early tonight.”

Edward nodded. “Yeah… me too.”

Elena went upstairs. Edward stayed in the living room for a few minutes, staring at the empty space where Ana had been sitting. His heart was still beating a little faster than normal. The memory of Ana’s mouth around him while Elena stood just a few feet away kept replaying in his mind. It had been one of the riskiest things he had ever done. And the worst part was that he had enjoyed it.

He eventually went upstairs as well.

Elena stood under the shower, letting the warm water run over her body. Her mind was surprisingly calm. The physical exhaustion from the day had settled into a quiet satisfaction. She had been fucked hard by Max and David earlier, and even though Edward had interrupted them, she had still managed to finish with both of them. Then she had taught Ana without any issues.

For the first time in a long while, Elena felt like she was in control of her own desires. She was no longer just reacting to temptation. She was choosing it.

As she washed her body, her fingers lingered a little longer between her legs. The memory of Max and David using her on the study table made her body warm again. She closed her eyes and let herself enjoy the feeling for a few seconds before forcing herself to stop.

She stepped out of the shower, dried herself, and put on her nightclothes. When she came out of the bathroom, Edward was already lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

Elena climbed into bed beside him. For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Then Elena turned to him.

“You were quiet at dinner,” she said softly.

Edward glanced at her. “Just tired.”

Elena studied his face for a second. Something about him felt slightly off tonight. He had been more distracted than usual. But she didn’t push it. She was too tired to dig deeper.

“Okay,” she said. “Goodnight.”

“Goodnight,” Edward replied.

Elena turned onto her side and closed her eyes. Within a few minutes, her breathing slowed as she drifted off to sleep.

Edward stayed awake.

He stared at the ceiling for a long time, replaying the evening in his head. The way Ana had looked at him when she left. The way she had sucked him in the kitchen while Elena stood right there. The way his heart had almost stopped when Elena asked where Ana was.

He knew he was playing a very dangerous game. One small mistake and everything could fall apart. His marriage, his reputation, his life — everything could be destroyed.

But even with all that risk, he couldn’t stop thinking about Ana.

After a long time, he quietly reached for his phone on the nightstand. He opened his chat with Ana and typed a short message:

Edward: You almost got us caught today.

He stared at the screen for a few seconds before hitting send. Then he put the phone back and closed his eyes, trying to force himself to sleep.

A few minutes later, his phone vibrated softly.

He picked it up carefully so he wouldn’t wake Elena.

Ana: But you liked it, didn’t you?

Edward looked at the message for a long time. Then he typed back:

Edward: You’re dangerous.

Ana’s reply came almost immediately.

Ana: And you keep coming back.

Edward didn’t reply after that. He locked his phone and put it away. Beside him, Elena shifted slightly in her sleep, completely unaware of the conversation happening just a few inches away from her.

The house was quiet again.

But the cracks in their marriage were getting deeper.

The next morning, Elena woke up before Edward. She got ready for university quietly, trying not to disturb him. As she was about to leave, she paused at the bedroom door and looked at her sleeping husband for a moment.

Something about last night still felt strange. Edward had been too quiet. Too distracted. But she pushed the thought away. She had her own secrets, after all. She had no right to question him when she herself was sleeping with her students and her department chair.

She left the house and drove to the university.

At the campus, everything was normal. She taught her classes, interacted with students, and even had a brief professional conversation with Elias in the hallway. But throughout the day, her mind kept drifting back to the previous evening — to the way Max and David had used her, and to the strange tension she had felt with Edward at dinner.

By the time she finished her last lecture, Elena felt restless again. The quiet of the previous night had not satisfied her. The hunger that had been growing inside her for weeks was already returning.

As she walked toward the parking lot, her phone vibrated.

It was a message from Elias.

Elias: My office. After your last class. Don’t keep me waiting.

Elena stared at the message for a few seconds. Then a small, almost dangerous smile appeared on her face.

She typed back:

Elena: I’m on my way.

She put her phone away and started walking toward Elias’s office with a steady, purposeful step. Whatever was happening between her and Edward, she was not going to stop. The risk, the secrecy, the thrill — she was already too deep into it.

And she had no intention of turning back.
