The group moved over to the picnic shelter and sat down at some of the picnic tables so that they could catch up some more. Josie, Dani, Jenn, and Daphne sat together so that they could talk about what had changed since the last time they had seen each other. Patrick and Jace sat across from each other with Daisy and Skylar sitting on either side of Patrick and Debbie and Sue sitting on either side of Jace. “So, did your team win any cheer competitions this year?” Sasha asked both Dana and Sky.

“We won a few and finished runner up in a bunch too.” Skylar said.

“Yeah. We won a few as well, which is really a surprise because we are such a small school going up against much bigger schools.” Sasha said.

“We don’t have the biggest school either, so we had to make up for it with our talent, which we had a lot of.” Dana said.

“Damn right we did. I am just upset that Kayla didn’t make me captain of the squad.” Skylar said.

While the girls were busy talking about cheerleading and Debbie and Sue were occupied with Jace, Daisy had an idea that made her smile. The group didn’t talk for much longer, but soon it was time to start setting up camp so that they didn’t have to do it later that night. Everyone split up into groups and joined up with some of the others who hadn’t been introduced yet and started to work together to set everything up so that they were able to start the rest of their week off right.
