Chapter 2

Gabe opened his mouth and then shut it as he considered the ramifications of what she had said. Social media could be a big influence in his future career and what she was threatening could isolate him from any of his connections that might be able to help him like Clint did, or tried to do. Sitting up on the bed, he almost asked if she was serious, but one look at her demeanor told him what he needed to know. "I… I will do it, but could you please maybe find me pants? Ay Dios mio! if one of the girls or boys see me dressed like this they could ruin me just as quickly as you."

"You are wearing what I got you, but… if you like I could make it so no one would know it's you." The nausea that had been building up from his stress gave way to relief. "Absolutely! Maybe get me a trench coat and glasses or something to disguise me?"

That made Maria laugh. "A disguise, yes, but considering what you will be wearing, I'm thinking of something more feminine, like makeup and changing your hair." Gabe gulped then nodded slowly. Back when Maria first started working at the salon she was just a receptionist, but wanting to earn more they taught her about nails, makeup and hair so she could assist. After that she bugged him repeatedly to practice, and he never gave in. Now though, he would relent and hope none of the students recognized him.

"If I do this I will be heading right to the mall and back. If the new boss man comes by, you buy me time, right?" He could see the excitement in her eyes that now accompanied the wolfish grin she had when first suggesting this. "So long as you don't spend all day at the mall shopping and looking at boys." Gabe groaned and knew this was it, she had won, but at least no one that knew him would know.

Seeing his look, Maria went over and picked up the skirt he tossed in the ground. "First thing is as a girl you need to treat your clothes better than that." He gave his sister a perplexed look, but she plowed right past it. "Second thing is you need to shave your legs and face."

Gabe reached up and touched his well groomed mustache. He hadn't considered shaving, and he hated the idea of losing this piece of his masculinity. Men shave off and regrow facial hair all the time, but with how often he actually needed to shave it took some time to get it right and one of the reasons he chose to go with the thin mustache look. He then looked down at his hairy legs, it wasn't that he had a lot of hair. It was just that his dark hair stood out. "Sure, I guess." He said with a sigh before heading back to the bathroom with his sister close behind.

She provided him with some cream to exfoliate his skin and Nair. It wasn't a long process, or that quick either. First he exfoliated, rinsed it off, dried off and then applied the Nair. After about six minutes he could start to feel it, after eight he could feel the burn and quickly went to rinse and wipe it from his skin. He watched the clumps of dark hair move in the tub with a pang of sadness.

As he stepped out of the shower the cold air hit him and it felt different. Not bad, but without his hair it made him feel more ****, even if it was all in his head. Gabe was not a fan of the image he saw in the mirror and quickly turned away to put the panties back on and with a sigh went back out to see his sister.

To her credit she didn't laugh, but she did look at him oddly. "What?" He asked, feeling self-conscious.

"¿Por qué te afeitaste todo?" Maria asked, not sure why her little brother shaved his entire body.

Gabe looked down at himself. "Isn't that what you said to do?" His sister shook her head and now let out a laugh.

"No, hermanita.” She chuckled, calling him her little sister. “Just your legs and face." The comment made him blush and fired him up.

"I'm not your sister or a child."

Maria just shrugged a little. "Come have a seat, we have work to do, but maybe if you did what I said you would have more hair." He gave his sister a glare as he went and sat down like she wanted. "Stop talking like you're my mom." Maria pursed her lips and considered what she could do to her little shit brother's hair to make the short wavy hair more feminine. "Stop acting like a child then." She said as she moved over to him and ran her fingers through his hair.

Gabe sat in silence as she messed with his hair, using scissors only a little after putting down a towel and adding product. What he balked at was when she came near him with tweezers. "Oh no, none or that, not happening!" Maria slapped one of his hands that he tried to use to block her from her task. "Cálmate.” She demanded him to calm down so she could do what she needed to. “Just need them to be not so bushy or they will give you away." Soon she declared his hair done, but didn't let him up from the seat as she started the next task of makeup.

His skin tones were the same as her own. Making what she brought on the trip perfect. She had always wanted to do this to him growing up, and now not only did she get to do his makeup, but got to dress him up too. She wasn't sure how his ego would take this, and after he got clothes and came back he might be insufferable. But no one could take this moment away from her. She got to play dress up with her little brother and send him out into the world hoping no one would see through the disguise.

The humiliation he would feel would be a drop in the bucket for how girls felt with how he treated them, but it would be a lesson men don't get. After applying lipstick she did one last thing, with coloring in a mole he had to make it a beauty mark. "Oh my gosh. Gabriel. You are beautiful!" She said Stepping back. "Yeah, let me see." Gabe started to get up, but she stopped him. "No, go get dressed first. Can't have a young lady running around almost naked." A young adult, a male adult, even one in disguise. He mentally corrected not enjoying how she kept referring to him as a female. "Yes Mom." He said just to bother her.

As much as he told her that she was not his mom, he never understood why it irked her so much when he called her that, but if it didn't he wouldn't have kept it up over these years. The shirt, a blouse, was going to be a pain with the buttons on the wrong side, but before he could put that on his sister stopped him. "Wait, you need a bra first. A girl your age wouldn't be so flat chested, unless you want people to pay extra attention to you." She said ready to give him a little payback.

Gabe didn't see a bra on the bed, but when he saw Maria opening up her suitcase he frowned. His sister was quite endowed. He recalled her complaining about her friends being larger than her and their Madre said everything comes in time and she was right because she had to be a D-cup and now apparently so was he, though he wasn't sure what she meant by a girl his age, what other age would he be?

"Don't move now, chiquitita.” It amused her to call her brother little one, he often was so uptight about his height. “You are smaller than me, so I'm having to pin the bra closed and I don't want to stick you."

Seeing the large empty cups of the lacy white bra didn't make him feel any better about the situation. Then, he felt his sister slap his bottom, further adding to the humiliation. "All done, now get dressed."

Soon he was sitting on the bed wearing the white blouse with three quarter-length sleeves. It was stretched as far as it could to contain the large, imaginary chest it was not made to cover and the purple, plaid tartan pleated skirt. What felt much better than he expected was those thin girly white knee socks, wrapped softly around his legs. That was unfortunately balanced out by the bra straps digging into his flesh and the tight feeling of the heels as the thin buckle was clasped shut, forcing his foot to stay at an angle.

Maria smiled at the image of what appeared to be a teen school girl sitting on the bed. "We need three quick lessons so you don't get caught and hauled off somewhere. Voice, posture and walking. Your voice has never been deep, so if you just talk a little lighter or breathier you will be fine. Sitting, I'm going to show you how to smooth your skirt when you sit and how you should sit, the answer is one leg over the other."

Gabe opened his mouth to interject, but she kept talking like she was teaching a class. "It might be uncomfortable with your junk, but I promise you it will be better than someone seeing up your skirt. Then, lastly, is walking in heels."

The first thing she went over was talking and she made him practice as they went into the next lessons on how to sit like a lady. "I just love how my legs look in this skirt!" He said repeating after her. When he complained that he can make up his own sentences she stopped him as he slipped back into his own voice.

"We are using feminine sentences to help you get in character, or did you do all this to just get caught?" Gabe shook his head. But his sister looked at him with that stern teacher's look. "I can't hear you, answer the question girl." She was enjoying this too much, but in about two hours it would all be over and his reputation would be intact. "No." He said in a short reply. "That won't do, try saying this. ‘I want to be seen as a pretty girl, and not as an icky man, ma'am.’"

Gabe rolled his tongue around in his mouth trying not to say what he wanted to say. He did consider saying ‘Vete a la mierda.’ in the voice he was practicing, telling her to go fuck herself would feel good, but instead he went with the tried and true way to mess with her. "I want to be seen as a pretty girl, not some icky man, Mom." Maria bit her lip, but said nothing at first as she continued the lesson on sitting before moving to walking in heels.

Deciding Gabe needed to be taught not just how to walk like a girl, but one on the prowl for men's attention. It took a few tries and he almost fell over twice, but he was a quick learner, something she could easily admit. "Okay, I think you got the basics. You no longer walk like a baby taking her first steps. Go take a look in the mirror and then you can head out." Gabe strutted to the mirror by the little desk in the room and Maria held in a snicker as she watched how his ass and legs moved with each step. It wasn't perfect, but impressive for a fifteen minute lesson on strutting.

In the reflective surface of the mirror Gabe saw an attractive, big-tittied teen that had a look of surprise on her face to match his own. It didn't feel like he was looking at his reflection, but at a girl who was just copying his every movement. "Maria, these tits are too big! They will draw too much attention."

Maria watched her brother cup his fake breasts and shook her head. "Breasts, not tits and that is better than being flat chested. If someone looks, maybe they will stare at your chest like you are and pay little attention to anything else."

Gabe looked over to his sister and then back to himself. Eyes focused on the chest that his blouse threatened to burst and expose. With a groan he had to admit what she said was the truth. "I guess… well, mejor me voy. Things already weighing on him Gabriel told her he better get going, but then saw the girl in the mirror once more. This time he looked closely, like he was trying to catch her messing up as she mimicked him, then started to head to the door.

As he touched the door handle Maria called out to him. "It might rain, go ask the front desk to borrow an umbrella." Gabe opened the door while looking back at his sister as she told him what to do again. She could have made it sound like advice instead of a command, but she hardly ever did. "No hay problema, Mamá." He said just before turning to look at the man who had his hand raised as if to knock on the now open door. The man before him was none other than his new boss, Mr. Banks.

Standing in front of Gabe was the man he had yet to meet. The man that had become his new boss a week ago: Samuel Banks.

He was roughly six foot three and was built like a linebacker. A retired one, apparently, with the small gut that he had, but the extra weight just added to the impression that he was standing before a giant.

The air from the room's AC unit blew past Gabe's hairless legs to escape into the warmer hallway. He stood there, mute and frozen, very much aware he was dressed in women's, no girls’ clothes. "Well hello there little lady. That is some mighty fine manners you got there, opening the door for a guest before they knock. Did I hear right and you called Miss DeLeon your Mom?" He said, with a slight southern accent and a friendly smile. Gabe slowly nodded his head, too afraid to lie to him within arms reach.

He wanted to tell him how he says things like that from time to time to tease his sister. He wanted to explain why he was dressed this way, but the terror of it all had struck him mute. While Maria's eyes were wide in shock at the sudden discovery and didn't know what to say, but knew any second her little brother was going to go into panic mode as this new crisis hit. Under pressure he was worse than useless, but when she saw him nod to Sam's question a plan formed. Well a partial… a fraction of a plan formed.

"Sam, I told you to just call me Maria, didn't I? You heard her right, this is Gabriella Grace. My daughter. Gabriella, ven aquí rápido, ahora.” Using the feminine version of his name, the same name as their madre’s middle name, she told him to come over quickly. The name didn't register to Gabe. But the Spanish did and he looked back at his sister and then to his boss. As he turned from him he put one hand above his left fake breast, feeling his heartbeat much quicker than should be healthy, with each step to his sister his mind panicking more and more.

What should he say? Should he have done something by now? What did his sister call him? Gabriella Grace, like their Madre's middle name? Wait did Mr. Banks call him little lady? Gabe looked over his shoulder at his large towering boss and blushed with embarrassment before turning away and stepping to his sister's side. Wanting to be far from the door, and the man standing in it. What was happening? Did Maria say I was her daughter, oh no. OH NO! MY LIFE IS RUINED SOON AS HE FINDS OUT!

Maria put a hand on her disguised brother's shoulder, as the large man came into the room with his laptop bag hung over his shoulder. The sight of it made Maria realize she hadn't given Gabriel a purse to hold those vouchers and with a glance, sure enough they were held tightly in one of his hands. "You have to forgive her, she isn't one hundred percent fluent in English."

Samuel looked between the two and saw the obvious resemblance in skin tone, the dark wavy hair. Even if Gabriella's was short and both had the same golden eyes. Talking to Maria on the plane he realized he could look into them forever and consider it a life well spent.

When the girl walked away from him. He could see her put her hand over her heart and the blush in her cheeks when she looked back at him, she was far too young for him, but it still felt good. "You didn't mention you had a teenage daughter, or that she would be here. Did I miss her name on the roster?"

Gabe looked to his sister and tugged on her shirt sleeve like doing so would only get her attention and not his. "¿Por qué le dijiste que eres mi mamá?" He asked enraged and confused, unsure why she said she was his mom. Maria looked at her brother in his makeup covered eyes and held it for a second. Trying to will him to go along with this before Sam found out who he really was and got him fired.

"Sweetheart, here it is considered rude to speak Spanish in front of people who don't speak it. I know English is harder for you, but try to make an effort." He didn't even stop to think in his panic that Sam might have spoken Spanish and wanted to make sure he knew that was safe.

"This is Mr. Banks, my boss and Principle of the school and Sam, I know I didn't tell you about her. I had my sweet girl when I was rather young after something unfortunate happened and had **** other than to put her up for adoption. She has only recently come to find me after her adopted parents passed. And it seems my mother thought it best to fly her out here."

It was a partly true story, when she was fourteen almost fifteen she had been **** when they were visiting family in Mexico and while her Mother was religious she let her have an abortion, but a complication made it so that would be her last pregnancy. "Oh, I see. I'm truly sorry for what happened, and I'm sorry for your loss Gabriella."

Maria could see her story made him feel uncomfortable and his body language told her he wasn't sure what to say. Sam was a good southern man, and she loved listening to him talk with his accent. "Ahh how do you say, I'm sorry for your loss in Spanish?" That made Maria smile in a way that touched her eyes. "She understands well enough, speaking English I think is more about her shyness than knowledge."

Gabe was terrified, he felt like his knees were knocking, this man was going to find out the truth and he was going to be labeled a sex offender or something worse. He was lost in his own thoughts as the two continued to talk. He didn't start paying attention till he heard the school mentioned.

"Her crossing the border without a passport or not she deserved an education and needs to be in school right?" Maria nodded slightly, not able to argue that point. "It is already part way through the year, it would be best if we enrolled her for next year." She said trying to steer the man away from trying to get her little brother to enroll.

Gabe felt the man's eyes focus on him. "Would you like to go to school?" No swirl of answers, lies, half truths came to his mind, only that he wanted him to stop looking in his direction and a negative answer would only make him ask more questions. Gabe nodded his head and answered in his primary language without thinking. "Sí"

Samuel looked back up to Maria as he motioned to the apparently shy girl by her side. "See that, no need to have her further behind, she wants to go to school and make friends." Maria looked to her brother and wondered why he was sabotaging her. She was trying to help him, but she did see the panic in his eyes. It caused her to give a defeated sigh, he would be of no help.

"Guess Gabriella is going to high school." She saw how pleased Samuel looked at his victory and she expected to see horror in her brother’s eyes, but it looked more like it didn't register. It didn't matter too much, what she needed to do was figure out a way to swap out her daughter for her brother, but as this conversation went on it felt more like Gabriel would be Gabriella for the next few days. With that thought and seeing how timid her arrogant sibling was, an evil thought came to her. That maybe seeing him squirm wouldn't be so bad. She was a drama teacher after all and if anyone could give him a crash course on how to do this it would be her. Her little brother had made it clear that he looked down on her choice of profession. Heck he had only taken a teaching job at the local high school because their madre told him that he was an adult now and she wasn’t going to let him free load. Now the job she loved, that he looked down on was going to be exactly what was needed to get him out of the hole he just dug himself into.

"Well I'm glad that is settled, but I wanted to show you what I got the school!" Listening to the large man with the southern accent get excited was enjoyable. "Now yall look at this!" He said pulling out his laptop and a little box with a hole in it.

"Si, nice box, hole is a little small and…" Maria looked back at her brother then to him. "Not appropriate I think." He let out a roar of laughter.

"No, no not like that. Though I like that she is mature enough to not go into a giggling fit like most of those her age. This! This is a fingerprint scanner!" She wasn't really sure why that had any real importance, but she went along with it.

"Oh, yes. Very nice." Samuel pointed the device at Gabriella, either ignoring Maria's reaction or not picking up on the sarcasm.

"Here let me show you." He beckoned the disguised man forward as he held out the device. "Don't worry, it won't hurt. Just put your finger in here." As Gabe stretched his finger out Samuel gently took his wrist and held the hand still as he moved the device over his finger. With a press of a button a little red light flashed inside and then Gabe's hand was free.

"Now for the best part!" Samuel sat down on the edge of one of the beds and opened up his laptop. "See, what we did was take Gabriella's fingerprint and then I'm attaching it to a student record, well creating a new one in her case. New systems always take some setup time." He chuckled to himself as he typed in the information for the new record.

"How old are you darlin?" Hearing a man call him darling didn't feel good, but the question brought that familiar panic and Gabe looked at his sister. "Dile que tienes casi dieciocho." Speaking so their boss wouldn’t understand them, she told Gabe to let him know they were almost eighteen. Maria said, to her brother who only shook his head no vigorously. Frowning for a moment, she turned to their boss.

"She will be turning eighteen in the spring, why?"

Samuel typed away on the keyboard. "Just setting up her student profile, we can even talk about what classes to enroll her in. This new system from Mega Corp is fantastic. I talked the school board into letting them use us for a trial. They will be installing these scanners and computers in every class room. Just imagine, no more having to take attendance, no more worries about information being lost. Now darlin how tall are you without your pretty shoes? Five foot three, five four?"

Gabe for the first time spoke back to the man, he hated people calling him short and he wasn't that small. Puffing his chest out he said. "I'm five five." To Samuel it looked like she was speaking with pride.

"The little lady does speak!" The reminder of his appearance made him blush, just adding to the man's idea that she had a crush on him. "Alright, I think I have the basics."

"Your Ma and I can work on getting you some classes and you will officially be enrolled. Next up is you Maria, if you would let me hold your hand for a moment." She looked at the device and did as he said. As he pressed the button the same red light flashed.

"Say, what would happen if you scanned my finger and accidentally put me as a student and a second one as a teacher?" Typing away on his laptop he smiled at the beautiful woman’s question.

"System wouldn't let that happen, it would just pull up the first profile. I would just have to delete your profile and recreate it if I assigned you as a student. I think… might be a way to move it to the teacher group. Hmmm good question. Not much of a computer person to be truthful." He said, running his squared jaw with his hand. Maria looked at her brother, thinking how stupid he could be to agree to wanting to go to school, and now she would have to figure out how to delete the profile of her ‘daughter’ before he could even show up to work, let alone be on this trip.

"Would you be able to hold down the fort here, while I take Gabriella to the mall? The airline lost her luggage and we need to get more clothes."

Samuel looked at the white blouse that was ready to burst from her large chest she had obviously inherited from her mother. "Suppose we do need to do something to help our damsel in distress, but afraid we can't do that. Remember we have the bus picking the kids up for one of the tours. Though I reckon we can go to the mall for lunch instead. Give the kids a chance to blow off some steam, and maybe Gabriella can make a few friends. Though I don't know how she is so shy and demure with you as her Ma."

Maria put one fist on her hip as she looked him in the eye. "Are you saying I can't be demure?" Samuel held up his hands in defeat, but wasn't willing to give ground.

"Didn't say that, you, my dear, have a fiery passion about you, that you bring to life. One of the reasons the students like you so much." He met her eyes with a large smile when he said the last part, giving a hint that it was more than the students that liked having her around.

Their flirting was the furthest thing from Gabe's mind as he plopped down on the bed next to his boss's laptop, sitting in an unlady-like fashion. This was supposed to be so he could just go buy some clothes. The airline messed up and then that cow threw away his clothes on purpose he was sure of it. And… and now his boss just registered him as a female student where he was supposed to work. He was going to have to stay pretending to be his bossy sister's daughter for the trip and go shopping with all the teenagers.

"Gabriella Grace! I don't know what you were taught, but if you can't keep your legs together I will tie a rope around your thighs like your Abuela did to me when I was younger." Maria said, thinking of their mother and her less than subtle methods.

Gabe snapped his legs together and pulled down the purple skirt, noticing how much it had pulled up with his legs sitting apart and as he realized the imposing Mr Banks was looking it caused him to look down and away as he blushed in embarrassment. He was sure that embarrassment and how his sister just acted was what he could expect for the rest of the trip. At that second though, he just wanted the blonde haired man to stop looking at him all together.
