Is Maeva's husband finally satisfied?

Chapter 19 - A Fair Compensation

A wave of nausea washed over Sarah as awareness returned with the stark physical reality of his presence lingering inside her. The warmth spreading through her insides wasn't just aftershocks from his thrusts anymore; it was a mixture of mingled fluids pooling within her, slick and heavy against her delicate nerves.

She could feel it beginning to leak – a slow seepage around his departing heat that gathered in the hollow between her legs, spreading down past her dampened thighs. The pungent scent of his essence mixed with the sharp tang of urine as it pooled on the floor beneath her stomach, mingling with the dusty chill of the room’s earthen floor.

His laughter echoed off the stone walls as he rose to his feet, a hearty sound that jarred against Sarah's ragged breaths and the dull ache pulsing from within her. The scrape of his tunic against leather startled her - the sounds of him regaining his composure and moving around the room were jarringly real against the backdrop of her own numbed state.

"The sun's starting to climb, you know," he called out as if they shared a pleasant conversation over breakfast rather than a brutal violation just moments prior. “If you don’t want to be charged for another night's lodging and rations, best get yourself moving."

He chuckled again, the sound echoing with an almost mocking warmth that made Sarah clench her teeth. "And if I were you, I wouldn't delay too long on those ablutions. You look ripe enough to attract flies before midday."

His words tumbled out of him like a jovial torrent, completely disregarding the fact that she lay spread-eagled on the floor in a puddle of his making.

Sarah tried to pull herself together, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear and focusing on the rhythmic rise and fall of her chest. The movement seemed to bring a fresh wave of nausea up from somewhere deep within her bowels.

He paused at the doorway for a moment, turning back with a final flourish that sent another ripple of heat through her core. Holding aloft her stained undergarments – the rough linen clinging damply to his calloused hand – he gave them a casual shake before adding, "These are staying with me. A nice souvenir from our… intimate encounter."

And as if sealing the bargain struck in the throes of pain and surrender, he tossed a handful of tarnished copper coins onto the floor at her feet before disappearing into the hallway outside.

The silence that followed was almost unbearable – a suffocating blanket smothering the last vestiges of warmth from his departure. Sarah lay there, surrounded by the evidence of his intrusion: the mingled scents of him clinging to the air, the dampness seeping against her skin, and the dull ache radiating from a place where she once felt strong and whole. The coins clinked softly on the floor, a mocking reminder that she had paid for this night's stay, both in coin and something far more precious.

Time stretched out around her in the stillness. She **** herself to draw deep breaths, trying to coax life back into limbs that felt heavy as lead weights. When she finally gathered enough strength to push herself up from the floor, it was with a groan of protest that echoed through the empty space.

Each movement sent fresh waves of nausea and discomfort rippling through her, reminding her of the alien weight within her bowels. She shuffled toward the rough-hewn basin in the corner, keeping one hand braced against the wall for support. The cold water shocked her system awake as she cupped it over her face, splashing it across the gritted grime that coated her cheeks and forehead.

As she splashed cool water onto the damp heat of her thighs, Sarah knew this journey was far from over. The road ahead stretched before her, a daunting path illuminated only by the faint flicker of hope - her oath, her purpose - held fast against the tide of humiliation. She had paid for this night in coin and something far more valuable: her purity.

But even as she leaned over the basin, trying to wash away the mingled scent of him from the fabric clinging to her body, Sarah knew she would survive this.

She had to.

The sun would rise again tomorrow, and with it, a new day to prove herself worthy of her holy calling. But for now, all she could do was keep moving forward, one aching step at a time. One filled with the warmth of his seed and the lingering tang of his urine, pressing against her insides like a strange, unwelcome blessing.

Does Sarah linger in the oasis?
