A few days later, Mark closed his locker. All his things were packed for his trip with the university. A week in total. It wasn't for fun either. They were going to take assessments to validate some grades.

« Ready ? One of his buddies asked. »

« This dessert is divine... . Try it too. »

Jane takes a spoonful of the delicious chocolate mousse, bringing it to her lips. She moans softly, her eyes closing in pleasure.

She opens her eyes, gazing intently at Mark.

It was a stretch, but he meant there would still be some kind of distance, so it would be okay even though, deep down, it wasn't, because he was the one who would be far away. It didn't work at all !

After the meal, they walk through a park as if they have all the time in the world. But every passing minute only makes them more excited. A feeling had been lurking within them, ready to awaken.

With a beautiful view of the fountain and gardens, Mark looks at her. A deep gaze.

Jane felt a wave of emotion wash over her at those tender words, her eyes moistening slightly. She snuggled against him, breathing in his familiar scent deeply.

She rose onto her tiptoes, placing a soft kiss on his lips.

« Let’s go home now. It’s almost time. »
