Chapter 11: Death To All The Living
Long ago Trinity Demon was there instead of Cin. Long ago the plan was talked about and thought of by Delta and Trinity Demon. Long ago, they dreamt of a world where they were in power.
DEATH
"She's just 15," Aezlith explained to Death.
"So what?" Death asked. Questioning her sister.
"A 15-year-old shouldn't be having these types of thoughts," Aezlith replied.
"Well, no 15-year-old should have to go through the loss of a grandfather."
Conquest stepped out of the room. She joined them in the hallway of the cold dark hospital. "How is she?" Aezlith asked.
Conquest sighed, looking at the ground for a sec. She then looked at them and another heavy sigh escaped her lips. "She lost her grandfather a year ago. She's going through many things. She is still processing it. She has been struck with grief and sadness for days on end. Not to mention she started to watch things according to her parent's beliefs that are wrong to see. So she feels guilty for that. So she won't reach out to her Christian parents or to her believer siblings. Sexual videos and reading writings of dark nature. She sees herself unwelcomed and unworthy in their eyes because of that. She clings to the dark. Here we are to help her in a sense or her talking to herself. We are alone. Delta is alone."
"I'll talk to her." Death announced. "I'll help us. I'll help her." She began to move towards the door. But Aezlith grabbed her by the arm.
"We do it together. We are three but one. The perfect friends for her, herself."
"I agree with Aezlith sister. We will talk to her together."
"Very well, sisters." They entered the darkroom. The room had a single bed. With a heart monitor. A weak pulse was going across. Going up then back down. Instead of the green line was red. The 15-year-old girl was up in the bed watching a tv ahead of her. On it was nothing. Just static. Flashing colors of white and black from the tv. Death sat on the bed next to the girl. "Delta?"
The girl laughed. Slowly turning her head over to face Death. "Death? Trinity Demon! I've missed you!"
"You've been hurt. No, we have been hurt." Conquest explained.
"I have a plan. Actually, all of us, including you, have this plan. Destroy God."
"But God can't be destroyed," Aezlith stated.
"Yes, you're correct, sister." Death said standing up from the bed to face her. "God doesn't exist in our world. But he exists in the Christians? Well, the Holy Spirit does." Conquest nodded at this logic. "So I propose. In order to protect Delta and help her find peace in her grandfather's death, we help her with revenge. Revenge against whom? God. Because God controls everything. He took Delta's grandfather OUR grandfather from us. Because of this, we will lash out at the Christians tenfold. Starting with some online 'debates' more like insulting some online. On Figment. The writing site she has been on and where other Christians are. Shall we?" She asked her sisters. They nodded. She turned towards Delta. "Give us control. Just for a bit. Just for a few of your interactions online. We will fight for you. Together. Family. Unlike the family that betrayed you." Delta nodded in agreement.
"I'll give you control." The 15-year-old replied.
DELTA
She was so close to saying something nasty. She was on her alt account on Figment. Pretending to be an atheist. 'Debating' against a Christian who went by Samuel Roberts. He was friends with her on her main account. He, unfortunately, didn't know about her alt and got caught up in a war against God. She wanted to say it. She wanted to lay it down and beat him down or at least show him why he was wrong. But she stayed her hand.
"Why do you hesitate?" The Three asked her.
"Because. . .He's my friend." She mustered.
"He was your friend!" The Three hissed at her and she cringed in fear at their voices. It hurts her head sometimes when they speak. "When God took our grandfather God became our enemy and anyone who associates with his name is our enemy!"
She began to cry. "Well, okay. But not certain Christians. Not Kate! Not McNeal! Not Samuel! Not RUIN!"
"We must hate them! Because he hates you!"
"I will hate them! Just not Kate, not McNeal, not Samuel, and NOT RUIN! He. . .doesn't hate me. . .He doesn't do evil. That's what they say?"
"If he loved you he would have answered your prayer and saved our grandfather. But he didn't and because of that, we must hate him. Him not saving our grandfather proves he hates us!"
"You three are right. I am right? He hates us." Delta's voice grew cold and animalistic.
"We are your family. You need only rely on yourself. No one else." The Three stated. Silence. Then they spoke again. "But then again. Delta you're weak. You must rid yourself of this name that your parents chose and tried to raise you in Christian ways. You should let go of your Christian past and your birth name reminds you of it and the name that reminds us of that bygone era. You need a new name."
"I agree." Delta smiled.
"You will destroy Samuel with your text. Now for a name! How about-"
"You will stop this!" Another voice shouted. Delta was in the hospital again. Coming out of the darkness like a light came a girl.
"Ah, Dawn," Delta scowled at her. She looked just like Delta but instead of wearing black, this girl was dressed in white. Her body emitted a faint gold of magical energy. "Coming here to make me rethink my life and remind me why I am a terrible person?"
"I come here to help you. To help us. To remind you what is right! And this is not right!"
"Dawn: the Righteous One. So good. So perfect. No faults. You say you want to help. Yet all I hear is criticism. Trinity Demon doesn't like you. I hear them in the back of my head. They hate you."
"Because I am good and they are evil."
"Good and evil? Tell that to a god who took away our grandfather!"
"He doesn't do evil!" Dawn shouted.
"DOESN'T DO EVIL! He controls everything! This was his plan! He made me pray and lose my grandpa! Knowing I would break and kill my goodness in me except you! He wants me to be evil!"
"That's not true!"
"What is then?"
"Not this! You know deep down that God loves you." Dawn with both hands snapped with her fingers. Music started to play. It could be heard in the entire hospital. NOW PLAYING: BarlowGirl - I Need You To Love Me ───⚪───────────── ◄◄⠀▐▐ ⠀►► 0:37 / 4:24
"Playing my favorite band and one of my favorite songs?" Delta asked. Dawn nodded in response. Delta chuckled. Her left hand shot up grabbing Dawn's throat. Choking her. The other girl begged and tried to pry Delta's grip off from her. "Don't worry, Good-side. You can't die in here. You will heal. But what I will do next will hurt like hell." With her right hand, she went right through Dawn's t-shirt and skin into her chest. Grabbing her heart. Dawn shook her head no.
"Please, don't do this."
"Know this Good-side. You are nothing to me." But a tear escaped her. She was trying to hold them back. A flood of them. She ripped Dawn's heart out. She then let go of her. Letting her body fall to the floor. She smiled through the tears at her work. Snapping her fingers stopping the current song at 1:13. She snapped again and a new song played. She knelt down gazing at Dawn's corpse. "He took away my happiness. He took away flesh and blood family. MY GRANDFATHER! He took my heart! And so that is why God's world must burn. The plan might be committed sooner or later down the road. Kill everything and burn everything that God has created. Death to all the living."
"Funny I just thought of that," Death said, stepping out from the shadows smiling at her. She smiled back.
"We'll fight him together?"
"Together." Death replied. She snapped and a glass of wine was in her hands. She raised it. "Death to all the living."
Delta summoned her own glass. "Death to all the living." She raised hers.
"I won't. . ." A weak voice said. Death and Delta looked at Dawn. The girl must have healed a bit. "I won't allow you to control her! Leave this soul alone!" She screamed as a shock wave of mystical light-energy burst out of her. Sending Death flying down the hall. It didn't affect Delta. Who was stunned by what just unfolded. She was at a loss for words.
"Yeet," Dawn said, then she chuckled weakly. "If you think darkness gets the last laugh you're wrong." Delta stood up shaking her head.
"Voice of Reason? I am starting to think you're somehow part of God or the holy spirit inside of me? But I don't think it works like that? Maybe my morality is coming out to tell me what is right and wrong? Leave me."
"You know that's not what you want."
"What I want doesn't matter. Only the plan."
"You want to be a good girl. You want to be an honorable person." Delta stood still. Facing away from Dawn. A tear but also a smile appeared on her face. A true statement said by Good-side. She thought. She then put on her serious face walking away.
