Chantelle catches up

Cassie was a bit upset that Barbie was now with Tania as she had wanted to be the woman since they first met her but she also understood that she needed to speak to Chantelle about what happened. Chantelle had appeared off since coming to the mansion but whatever just happened with the big poof she seemed back to her usual self. “I know I keep saying it but I’m glad that you are finally back~” Cassie said with reassuring arm on her friend.

“I’ve literally been here the whole time Cassie,” Chantelle said with a chuckle. “But I understand what you are saying since it’s been a harder period of recovery. I assure you that I’m feeling like my old self again.”

“That’s great to hear. I was nervous that you were a completely different person after what you experienced with that spell. How did you manage to break it?” Chantelle put a finger to her lip and pointed up to indicate that there were ears everywhere. “Oh true! We don’t want to give away our secrets. Well anyways I think we should head back to our room to do some Q&A.”

“Sounds like a plan…” Chantelle said quietly. “How is your sister Alexandra doing?” Chantelle was smart in her wording since if Rebecca was listening to their conversation they wouldn’t realize they were talking about Lexie.

“I’m not sure since I have had contact with her. Seems like she’s gone off the grid…” Cassie said as she put her arms up while shaking her head. “She’s always been a tricky one.” Chantelle now realized that the frog was not Lexie and she was now missing as well. Claudia had given her basic info but Cassie had all of the info. That was some info to go off of but Maggie and Sophie were both missing as well.

“I agree but she can handle herself fairly well of all things you’ve told me. What about Charlie’s girl?” Chantelle asked.

It took Cassie a second to figure it out but realized she was talking about Sophie. “Ah yes speaking of her. She had also gone cold since she just went up and vanished one day. It’s hard to imagine where she is but I can guess she’s in a similar situation in the past. She got to close to the sun like Icarus.” Cassie could only assume Sophie was in the lion’s den since she was not disappearing and reappearing like Mel.

“That’s interesting. What was she doing for work again?” Chantelle asked.

“She was doing something in the technology field,” Cassie said as she tried to be careful to not reveal too much. Chantelle was getting a much more vibrant picture painted as the only girl left unaccounted for was Maggie.

“Ah technology is a great field. I don’t think I packed my clit ring did you bring yours?”

“I did but it’s currently with Barbie. Barbie for some reason thinks that is hers,” Cassie said as they finally arrived in their room. Everything finally made sense

“Bummer…what am I gonna do now?”

“There’s a really nice study with plenty of books. I think you’ll enjoy the selection of mystery novels that they have on the back shelves,” Cassie said with a wink. Cassie grabbed her iPad and responded to a few people as Chantelle sat on the bed. She needed to get to the study to see what the girls had been working on.
