Chanel found your gift

Before it fully registers on you that the screaming is coming from upstairs, the Dean reacts. Dropping his papers on the floor in front of his office door, he wheels and sprints for the stairs, bounding up them three at a time. You quickly follow in his wake, guessing at the source of the noise but wanting to see for yourself.

By the time you reach the top of the stairs the Dean is already part way down the hallway to where a small cluster of students gathers around an open door from which the screams are coming. Running after him you reach the door just after he pushes through the girls and enters the room. You see Chanel Vallon clinging to him in terror, her face staring at her bed, panicked screams still coming from her frantic throat.

And there on the bed lies your handiwork of earlier that day. The disembowelled teddy bear, the shattered Chanel No. 5 bottle and your note, easily readable from across the room.
