“ Hey babe. Hey Deva it’s time to wake up” you heard Victoria say but you were way to tired to comprehend what was happening. “ Someone’s calling you. Do you want me to take a message?”

“Sure whatever” you say rolling over as you try desperately to go back to sleep.

“ Hello.Deva’s phone. This is Victoria, how may I help you” You couldn’t hear the person on the other line but you knew it wasn’t anyone you knew. All your friends and family texted. You don’t know anyone who would have called you. “ Oh I see. Yeah Chad I am sure she would love to hang out tomorrow night.” Your eyes suddenly snap open you bolt up right but it was too late. “Just a “Netflix and Chill” type thing. Yeah I will let her know”

“Oh hey girl. Did you hear that? Or do you need me to fill you in?”

“ Who was that on the phone, was it Chad!” Panic began to fill your body again. Undoing most of the relaxation you just experienced.

“ It sure was he was wondering if you wanted to “Netflix and Chill” tomorrow night. So of course I said yes!”

“WHY! I don’t want to hang out with him. What if he tries to you know….”

All of this was true but it still didn’t mean you wanted to see him again. But it didn’t appear that Victoria was going to let you get out of it.
