Chad Gates

Chad Gates had a shit childhood. Typical drunk abusive dad. A mom that rather smoke or snort her troubles away rather than protect Chad. No friends growing up despite his good looks.

All that Chad had going for him in this shit hole of a city was that he was that he was smart enough to land the Wayne scholarship. Did I forget to mention he was born and raised in Gotham City? That should help you see where this is going.

At first college was great he was away from his parents. No one really knew him and he was swimming in good grades. Then it Gotham showed it’s fangs. In the form of Poison Freaking Ivy. Apparently she hated just how many trees had to be killed for college students each year.

So, in her classic form of protest. She grew a giant freaking tree right through the school. The only hero that to show up was that lesbian bat woman. Sure, she saved the day but not only was the campus destroyed. But so were all the schools records. Meaning all the students including Chad lost any proof they ever got in.

His scholarship all but deleted. In the wake of it the CEO of Wayne industries, Kate Kain made sure every female student made it into any college they wanted. But men like Chad were left to rot. As Chad walked do his latest hope of a job to scrap by. The lamp that would change his life forever landed smack dab on his head knocking him out on the cold streets of Gotham city.
