Cersei reintroduces Sansa to Myrcella and Taena Merryweather

Every step she took deeper into the dungeons filled Sansa with more dread. In the past hour, she had seen some of the most powerful women in Westeros perverted and humiliated. What chance did she have when the likes of Margaery Tyrell and Daenerys Targaryen had already been shamed?

Following Cersei down some winding steps, Sansa entered the last cell with a heavy heart. For a moment, she had a glimpse of hope as she saw her family’s banner draped across one wall. But here the once proud direwolf of House Stark had been muzzled, its eyes covered with a blindfold.

She just hoped her ancestors would similarly never have to see what became of their descendants.

Awaiting Cersi was a dark-skinned woman in a green bathing robe and the queen’s own daughter, Myrcella Baratheon. The princesses’ frilly and half-transparent dress was much at odds with her dingy and despairing surroundings.

Cersei turned back to her. “Sansa, my dear, you know Myrcella. Have you met Lady Merryweather?”

Sansa tried to curtsy, then felt incredibly stupid as she realised she was doing so without a skirt or dress: she was completely bottomless in her simple corset and her arse was almost numb from the cold.

“What progress have we made, Myrcella?” Cersei asked.

“We’ve had two more spankings,” Myrcella said, conducting a roll of parchment with her handwriting on. “A flogger was used for a little bit, then he tried the rod on her. And we’ve just put on nipple clamps on her.”

“With results?”

Myrcella hesitated. “No results yet. She hasn’t made a sound.”

“Well,” Cersei said brightly. “I can think of something that will soon fix that.”

Sansa just stared. It felt so strange hearing such filthy things coming from the sweet princess’ mouth.

Then Taena Merryweather was lighting the torches around the prison cell and the main attraction of the chamber was revealed.
