Makoto figured he could do one more, just to give him until late tomorrow for him to get an action done. After a bit of wandering around, Makoto managed to run into Celeste. Her action wasn’t too difficult, he just had to lose a bet against her. So, he walked up to her.
“Hey there, Celeste.” He waved to her.
“Ah, hello Makoto. What is it?” She gave a dainty wave, mainly absorbed into a book she’s reading.
“Want to play a game? I bet I’ll win.”
“Hm? Sure. But why all of the sudden?” She pulls a deck of cards out of her shirt and shuffles them.
“Oh, I just figured I’d test my luck against your skill. Just came to me earlier.”
“I understand. I am guessing we are playing poker?”
Makoto scratches the back of his head. “I… um… don’t know how to play poker…”
Celeste sighs. “Do you know how to play blackjack at least?”
“Oh yeah, I think I know that. It’s the 21 thing, right?”
Celeste groans. “Close enough.”
Long story short, Makoto busts. Celeste does a little giggle. “It appears I won- Action Successful. Passive Trigger Unlocked: Bad Better. Clean Up Time: Five Minutes.“
Makoto, already getting into a sort of pattern, puts the cards in her shirt and puts the book back in her hands. He leaves and checks the pad.
(1) Celestia Ludenburg (Red): Get her to lift up her dress without the use of a trigger.
Bad Better (Passive) - Celeste will only accept a bet if it would put her in a bad situation if she were to lose. Then, she will subconsciously make herself lose. This does not effect her luck.
“That seems… bad for her. Like, pretty bad.” Makoto yawned. “Guess I should get to sleep about now.
The next morning, Makoto was wondering what to do today.
