Caught by an Octopus

Gwen felt herself being lifted up in the air, tugged under the arms by her cardigan. As she was pulled, she saw a woman with a mass of curly black hair, wearing a thick belt from which protruded four long clawed tentacles, one of which Gwen was suspended from.

"Hello, pretty little girl." The woman smiled at Gwen, "I wonder if you can help me..."

"Leave her alone!" A voice suddenly rang out as Spider-Man, or Peter as Gwen knew him, came sailing through the air on a webline and connected the octopus-woman with a two-footed kick, sending her backwards and Gwen dropping to the ground.

Gwen realised her cardigan had been torn off as the woman was kicked away, which left her in her short grey skirt, black t-shirt, shoes and knee-high socks.

She knew the sensible thing to do was run away and let the superhero take care of this, but aftet barely a moment's thought Gwen realised that Peter sucked at taking care of things without her help, so she followed down the corridor in the direction the fighting pair had gone.
