Chapter 5 by Koriandr Koriandr

Who was it?

Catwoman

The sound of shattered glass from the physical plane echoed through the digital realm, snapping Barbara's focus back to the real world. She redirected the Oracle-bot's camera eyes toward the source of the disturbance, coming face-to-face with the intruder.

It was none other than Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman. A daring thief and occasional ally to the Bat Family. Despite having worked with her before, Babs trusted the cat burglar about as far as she could throw her.

Barbara used the robot's external speaker to address the intruder.

"Catwoman, get out of my Clocktower," her voice, mechanical and void of any warmth, echoed throughout the room.

Catwoman spun around, startled.

"A security robot? You weren't in the prints," Selina smirked.

"Leave! Or else..."

Barbara really didn't know if she could back up any real threats while operating this automaton.

"Seriously? How about you hand over some codes I need and I'll be on my way! C'mon, help a girl out!"

Selina purred, placing a hand on her hip and shifting her weight to the side.

"Get out! I'm not going to tell you again—"

"Or what? You have any idea who you're talking to, tin girl?"

Before Catwoman could react, Barbara fired a tendril from her palm. The device latched around the clown's head.

"What the hell is this?!"

She struggled to pull it off. Babs sighed internally. This was her best, only shot at taking down Oracle. As much as she'd rather not inhabit the body of a woman that slept with Batman on numerous occasions, she activated the mind transference protocol.

Barbara's consciousness stuttered as she transitioned into a new form. She inhaled sharply, her chest rising and falling as the air filled Catwoman's lungs. She was no longer a digital entity or an automaton, she was human again. Yet, it was an unfamiliar body she now controlled.

Glancing down, she observed her new outfit. A black suit hugging her full figure tightly, accentuating every curve of Catwoman's hourglass silhouette. Her newfound full breasts and wide hips were much larger and voluminous in contrast to her former athletic build. Her cat cowl wrapped itself tighter than the cowl Barbara was used to. She reached up and felt through her face, her gloved fingers tracing her plumper lips.

"Ow!"

She winced, Selina's voice exiting her throat. Did she really just prick herself with her own cat claws?

"These things are sharp!"

Babs held her hands out, examining the claws.

She turned her attention to her reflection in a shattered TV monitor. The tight figure hugging costume put her new, deep cleavage on full display.

She admired her new visage to an extent. Her irises had went from blue to emerald, her skin had taken on a slightly tanned tone and the more mature and sultry way this body carried itself at least made her feel more confident. There was no way she'd be able to get over being seen in public dressed like this if she didn't have Selina's natural beauty to hide behind.

“Hey! Give me my body back, freak!"

The image of Oracle's icon fluctuated on the TV screen, her voice coming out as Oracle's robotic monotone. Catwoman undeniably angry with the result of this change.

“Look I know that you have every right to be mad at me for this. You can kill me later but I have to find my own body and stop a rogue AI from killing everyone. Don't get too comfortable in the digital realm. You're not staying there for long,” she said aloud, the voice that came out was lower, mature, sultry, and flirtatious. It was chilling to hear Catwomans's breathy voice pass through her own lips. She swallowed, trying to get used to the foreign tone.

"I can make this work," she assured herself, the determination in her voice faltering only slightly. It was weird being in Catwoman's body, every aspect of it foreign and disconcerting. "Oracle, I'm coming for you," she affirmed, using Catwoman’s whip to launch herself from the floor and into the secret vents.

All Selina can do was be trapped in a world of binary code, a digital landscape that she didn't comprehend or understand. Barbara hadn’t had any concern about her getting out or learning how to control things or access data.

What happened next?
