Chapter 18 by dead_account dead_account

I bet $50 bucks that he’ll get cardiac arrest when he learns the big reveal about himself. Who wants in on the bet?

Catching up with new and old friends who are hot girls

You know, it’s such a weird coincidence that I’d get to meet Bella again after literally having a dream about her just this morning.

I wonder if this was some sort of supernatural premonition? That or I’m still in a coma and everything I think about becomes real in some form in the material plane.

Or it’s just coincidence.

Most likely the last one.

Anyway, after eating up my pizza, the three of us (and bodyguards) proceeded to go back down in order to get inside our cars.

By the way, did I mention Bella had her own bodyguards for some reason? Must be because of Stacy, and some good ol’ nepotism from being her fuckbuddy. That, or Bella also has an extremely high-class job and was basically considered to be as important as Stacy due to her position in society.

At this point, I wouldn’t really be surprised anymore. So much has changed since the past seven years, and I was waaaay behind the times.

Speaking of, maybe now was a good time to start catching up with her. Stacy too, I really want to know more about how these two met and how I somehow got involved in their lives.

As I heard the car engine picking up before feeling the motions of the car moving, someone finally decided to take my blindfold off.

Rubbing my eyes, the first thing I notice was that the car I was in was pretty lengthy. Lengthy like a limousine, I think. It had enough space for the three of us to sit in the back rather comfortably, while all the bodyguards following us sat on the opposite end in order to give us our privacy and space.

Second thing I noticed, the windows were tinted dark enough that I couldn’t clearly see anything from the outside. At this point, the window panels were more like decorations instead of actual windows to let me see the outside world. The only light source was this moody blue jazz lighting coming from the ceilings, lit bright enough for us to see inside the limo but not too bright to cause eye strain.

I whistled, impressed by the digs we were riding in, even if I was slightly disappointed from the fact that I couldn’t see the outside world.

“Fancy ride you got here. Who owns it?” I asked out of curiosity,

Bella cheerfully raised her hand, “Here here!”

I chuckled, “For some reason, I’m not even surprised.”

“Oh? Do I just give off the aura of someone who can afford owning a limousine for herself?” She playfully asked.

“Between this and the fancy clothes you’ve been wearing, it doesn’t take a genius to realize that you’ve struck it big. You could tell me that you were the wife of some famous celebrity and I wouldn’t even bat an eye.” I remarked casually.

“Hmhm~ I wonder...?” She smiled mischievously.

Stacy took it upon herself to tell me, “Sorry for blocking the view on the windows. I didn’t feel it was time for you to see everything up close just yet, so I requested the windows to be covered so that no one could see through it, in or out.”

I waved away her apology, “Nah, it’s fine, I don’t really care. When it comes the time to reveal everything to me, you’ll know when the best time will be. I trust you, Stacy.”

Stacy nodded and gave back an appreciative smile, “Thank you, John.”

“Onto more immediate matters now,” I changed the topic, “Where are we going first down our trip to memory lane? I’m assuming we’re gonna go someplace that I might find familiar as the first step to recovering my memory?”

“You’d guess right.” Stacy nodded, before gesturing to Bella, “Why don’t you go ahead and tell him where we’re going first for today. After all, this place holds some significance for both of you.”

Both of us? What?

Bella grinned nostalgically, before explaining, “Okay, some background information first before I tell you where we’re going. A couple of years ago, I used to work part time as a bartender for a local business in Georgia. In this place, I used to work under this adorable French guy named Pierre. We got along great, despite being my boss. Anyway, he said that his dream was always to start a famous multi-chain-bar-dance-club business across every city in every state in the US. After I quit my job there, I was able to form a relationship with...” she briefly paused here, “a high profile investor. I managed to pull some strings, a few things happened behind the scenes, and eventually, Pierre managed to finally get his dream to come true! He now owns a chain of dance clubs called ‘The Lost Lamb’ across every city, not just in the US, but in tons of other countries as well!”

I raised an eyebrow at the story, “Neato, I guess. I get why this means a lot to you, Bella, but what does that have to personally do with me?”

She giggled, “I’m getting to that! Anyway, so...” she suddenly blushed and became a bit more timid, swinging her hair to the side as she awkwardly brushed it with her fingers. “The place we’re going to visit happens to be the main bar that Pierre personally works as manager. The reason why we’re heading there first is because... well... it’s the place where I had my second date with a certain guy I know.”

“Oh.” I mumbled, still feeling confused as to how this was directly related to me.

Bella shyly looked over at me, smiling expectantly as if waiting for me to react.

...

The cogs in my brain slowly turned, clearly rusted and dusty from lack of use after all these years while I was gone. It took me only now to realize what she was insinuating at the end of that sentence.

“OH GOD, YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT ME, AREN'T YOU?!” I pointed to myself in surprise.

Bella nodded happily as Stacy covered her mouth and giggled by the side.

“Wait, what?! Whatwhatwhatwhat- say that again, what?!” I began to stammer like a dying putt-putt car. Eventually, I snapped out of it, before asking affirmatively, “This is the place we went to when we had a second date? You and me? Together?!”

“You sound like you could hardly believe it.” Bella pointed out, laying her chin on her palm as she observed me in amusement.

“Well, I mean, yeah!” I sputtered, “You’re telling me that we used to date each other?!” I had to look over to Stacy in order to confirm, “I thought you said I never had a girlfriend before! Didn’t you say that you were my first and only girlfriend I ever had?”

Stacy blushed embarrassingly, “Sorry. The situation was too weird and it was all during the heat of the moment. I didn’t think it was the best time to tell you until now, when things finally calmed down. I mean, this was right after you saw her and I get touchy-feely for the first time. Would you have believed me then if I told you then and there that you and Bella used to date?”

I chuckled in disbelief, “Honestly? I still don’t think I can believe it.”

“And what’s so hard to believe that we used to date each other? Seems pretty realistic to me, considering it actually happened.” Bella replied in a simple matter-of-fact tone.

“I just... I dunno...” I mumbled awkwardly, “The first time I ever asked you out, back in high school, it just seemed like you thought I was the grossest guy on earth. I didn’t think it would ever be possible to somehow... change your mind...”

Bella’s smile turned to a frown as she heard that, and she looked away with guilty regretful eyes.

Looking back at me, she simply stated, “Maybe in high school, I acted like a bitch towards you, but I’ve changed since then. Would you believe me if I told you that I was the one that actually asked you out first, when we finally met up again?”

I chuckled pessimistically, “Not really, no... mostly because I don’t think I changed at all since high school. If you didn’t like me then, what reason would make you like me now?”

“Hm.” She gave a considerate hum as she closed her eyes in thought.

Stacy kept silent as she watched us converse and catch up with each other, deciding it would be best if we dealt with this ourselves.

“I can prove to you that I did ask you out, you know.” She stated confidently.

I raised an eyebrow, “Really? And how would you do that?”

“Back when we met up again for the first time since high school, I asked you out on a date.” She began to recall, “Out of all the places you wanted to go, you immediately told me to get ready a nice dress for a reservation at Chuck E. Cheese. That was where we had our first date.”

...

I chuckled, covering my face in embarrassment, “Oh god, that does sound like me. It was basically the only place I could think of that was affordable and had tasty pizza. Old habits die hard...” Shaking my head in astonishment, I looked up at her with an incredulous face, “And even after I told you that, you still went out with me instead of telling me to screw off?”

Bella smiled back, “Like I said, I changed. Plus, I was the one asking you out on a date anyway, so it’s not like I had a choice if I wanted to be with you. So yeah, I accepted it.”

Jesus, she wasn’t lying, was she?

“Sorry for not accepting you on your offer the first time you asked. Better late than never though, am I right?” Bella offered with an apologetic shrug.

I couldn’t help but laugh in disbelief, but I just had to accept it at this point. “Okay, okay, I believe you.” I shook my head, smiling dumbly to myself, “Wow. Getting together after high school. How long did we last before the relationship got ruined, either due to me or something else?”

“How long did it last?” Bella repeated in confusion.

“Well, obviously it ended at some point, right? Otherwise, we’d still be together. That’s obviously not the case, considering the whole unique friendship you have with Stacy, and how I’m now in a romantic relationship with her instead.”

She frowned, a wave of depression covering her entire visage to the point where I noticed it immediately. It caught me off guard to see her look so down from just a simple question.

Stacy even looked concerned at this point, almost considering reaching out to do something and comfort her.

It lasted up until you lost your memories of me... Bella thought depressingly to herself.

Bella finally answered, “It... lasted for a decent while, I guess. But then you and I had to take a break from each other because something unexpected happened that neither of us could have seen coming. Maybe one day, when you get your memories back, we’ll be able to patch it up, but...”

Hm. Sounded like a sensitive topic. Would not be the best time to ask further about it, or should that wait until later?

Feels like it was my fault for some reason, so I couldn’t help but get this urge to apologize and try to fix it, but...

“I... I see...” I looked away awkwardly. “Sorry for bringing it up. A shame it didn’t work out between us. I hope that I made you happy when we were still together, at least.”

She gave back a small smile in response, “You did. If you hadn’t, I wouldn’t be here trying to help you get your memories back, now would I?”

I gave a small smile back, “Good point.”

Stacy gave a sigh of relief, and it was at that moment did I realize that we were literally talking about our own relationship while Stacy was just standing on the side being **** to listen to all of this.

Worriedly, I called out, “Oh, I’m sorry Stacy! I didn’t mean to leave you out of the conversation! It must have been uncomfortable, having to hear me go on about my past romances with someone else...”

Stacy vigorously shook her head, “Nonono! It’s absolutely fine! I actually love listening in on you two talking and trying to catch up with each other! It’s really sweet how you two still connect with each other, even after everything that’s happened!”

Huh.

“So, you’re not jealous or anything?” I asked cautiously.

“Not at all, John! I’m actually pretty happy to see you discussing about it and taking it fairly well.” Stacy smiled cheerfully

“I guess that goes the same for you, Bella?” I felt the need to ask as I looked back over to who I’ve now learned is my ex, “You seem pretty easygoing about all this, considering we used to date, and now I’m just now starting a new relationship with Stacy.”

She leaned back and grinned playfully as she raised a thumbs up. “Trust me John, I’ve secretly been an avid cheerleader of Stacy’s and hoping that you’d finally ask her out ever since I learned about her little crush on you. It’s a shame it took you to get amnesia to finally notice her, but I still wholeheartedly support this.”

I scratched my neck as I looked between the two girls, finding it surprising how accepting and supportive they are about the situation.

Normally, when a guy has two flames in his life, you’d expect both of them to fight each other to the **** just out of sheer spite for the other.

Yet seeing how neither of them seem to even bat an eye...

“You two must be really close friends to have this level of trust and understanding between each other.” I remarked with an impressed smile. “It’s... pretty unique, I gotta say.”

“When you found I used to be your girlfriend, were you secretly hoping I’d get jealous?” Bella playfully asked, tilting her head to the side with a flirty smile, “Or maybe you wanted Stacy to get a little clingy towards you, so you tried to flirt with me knowing that she was watching?”

“Woah, wait a minute here!” I put my hands up defensively, “I wasn’t trying to flirt or hoping for anyone here to get jealous! In fact, I absolutely do not want anybody here to be jealous at all!”

Stacy looked intrigued as I said that, rubbing her chin as she seemingly studied me. It was almost as if she wasn’t expecting me to say that.

Bella, however, gave a faux-sad sigh, “How boring... I was hoping you’d flirt with me for a bit after I told you about our past relationship together.” She looked away with a bored look, “Such a shame too. If you had played your cards right, you might’ve been able to convinced an old flame to be your second girlfriend today...”

...

Me? Dating Stacy and Bella at the same time...?

“Yeah, right...” I scoffed.

Bella glanced back at me with a curious look.

“I’m not the type of guy that would be able to handle juggling between two girls at once.” I looked down with a bitter smile, “Even if I was, I wouldn’t dare think about trying it anyway.”

Now Bella started to look confused.

I took a deep and heavy breath.

In complete utter seriousness, I spoke, “Guys who have more than one relationship are scum.”

...

Stacy and Bella seemed shocked as soon as they processed what I just said. They seemed so surprised, it was almost like they saw a second head sprout out my neck.

Was what I said really that surprising? For me, it was just the honest truth.

I hated anyone who has multiple relationships with different people. I hated it even more when they do it behind the backs of people who don’t know any better.

At worst, it’s manipulative and egotistical for anyone to think that they deserve to have more than one partner. At best, it’s unfair to the people they’re stringing along.

My sister got herself hurt because she trusted a guy who ended up having another girlfriend without her knowing. I won’t forgive anyone who thinks they can get away with that.

Seeing the serious contemplative face I was making, Bella cautiously waved her hands at me, “H-Hey, John, it was just a joke. I was kidding, you know?”

Looking up to see her looking so nervous, I realized I may have overreacted a bit and calmed the hell down.

Forcing a chuckle, I awkwardly scratched my neck, “Right, sorry. Totally knew that. Didn’t mean to get so serious about it.”

Bella gave a worried glance over at Stacy. Stacy returned the look with her own concerned frown.

Alrighty, looks like I brought the mood down. Time to fix that mistake as quick as possible to avoid having to deal with another awkward situation.

I immediately changed the topic, doing my best to pretend that nothing happened. “Anyways, as I was originally saying, you two must be pretty close with each other. I’d almost call you both sisters, but then I remembered the whole friends with benefits situation going on, which would probably just make the comparison end up being weird...”

Giving each other one last worried look, Stacy was thankfully the first to move the conversation along, propping up a polite smile as she told me, “I guess I can’t fault you for seeing things that way. Bella and I have known each other for about four years now.”

“Right,” Bella continued, moving past the previous conversation as well, “Four years might not be considered a lot to some people, but we’ve gone through a lot of things together. I’d say we’ve gotten to know each other better than most people would with others in their entire lifetimes.”

“How did you two meet in the first place, if you don’t mind me asking?” I asked curiously.

In complete unison, the two girls responded, “Oh, I met her through you, John.”

The two girls looked over at each other and giggled at the synchronized response.

I raised an eyebrow, “Oh, so... wait, I was the one that introduced you guys to each other?”

Stacy suddenly blushed for some reason and looked away, while Bella had a nostalgic smile on her face.

“Something like that.” Bella responded cryptically.

Unbeknownst to John at that moment, both girls fondly looked back and remembered the exact day the two of them first met. It involved a topless Bella passionately making out with a sexually aggressive John Doe as his cock was getting throat massaged by a very submissive and eager doctor’s apprentice.

Looking between the two, I felt my face grow hot as I wondered if I accidentally reminded them about something sexy they might have done in the past.

Fuck man, bisexual girls were hot, not gonna lie.

God, for some reason, I feel like such a hypocrite though.

Clearing my throat, I continued on, “So when did you two discover that you were both bisexuals?”

This seemed enough to knock Bella out of her trip down memory lane as she flinched and asked, “Bisexual?”

I blinked at the response, not knowing what she meant. “Y-Yeah?” I stuttered, “Aren’t you? Otherwise, why would you both... be attracted to each other?”

Bella furrowed her brow, looking deep in thought. “You know, I never really thought about my sexuality before until now. I always thought I was straight, but now that I think about it...” She said in heavy consideration.

“Wait, what? What do you mean ‘until now?’” I asked confusedly, “You never realized you were bisexual until I literally brought it up just now?”

“Well, I mean, it’s not like I’ve ever gone out on the prowl for other girls because I was attracted to them,” She explained, “I only ever had sex with other girls when they were a part of the harem-“

She suddenly slammed a hand to her mouth, eyes widened in complete panic.

Wait, did I hear that last part right? Or did I imagine it?

“What?” I asked, dumbfounded.

“Bella, you said a word wrong.” Stacy chimed in with a matter of fact attitude, “Pretty sure you meant to say hair, not harem.”

Hair? What?

“Right!” Bella snapped her fingers and smiled. “I meant to say hair. I only ever had sex with other girls who have hair that reminded me of parts of my own.” She corrected herself. Then she glanced away a bit, before repeating, “Hair. Parts of my own hair.”

...

What?

“Take Stacy for example!” She suddenly scooted over next to Stacy and gently touched her hair, “Long and wavy black locks of hair, it almost looks exactly like mine! So sexy...”

...

Bella has turned out to be a very interesting girl than I originally figured. I never would have imagined she would be so quirky and weird back in high school.

Something about it all sort of made her... more endearing?

That, or I’m completely creeped out to the point that it’s gone full circle as a defensive mechanism to keep me sane.

Deciding it best not to point it out, I resumed, “Well, I’m glad to help you realize your own sexuality today.”

Stacy gave a sigh again, and Bella seemed to facepalm herself as she leaned back against her seat.

WHY AM I ALWAYS SO BAD AT THIS, Bella screamed internally in frustration.

Stacy cleared her throat, before asking, “Anything else you want to learn more about, John? It’s still a bit of a drive until we get to The Lost Lamb place.”

Well, since we’re changing the topic again...

“I guess I’ve learned how you guys met each other already. How about telling me more about how I first met you, and also how I met up and reconnected with Bella again after high school?”

Stacy sighed heavily through her nose, but did her best to keep up the same calm expression. “Oh boy, here we go again...” she whispered to herself.

The rest of the limo ride was very awkward at that point as we drove to our destination.

Ey, ey, ey, I gotta gun. No girls. GiRlS gOtTa DiE. Baby beans, you and your penis, inpoopnents, JUMP IN THE CAAC
