Cast a Defensive Spell

With a few words of power, you began to channel a magical spell all around your body. The mana escaped from inside you, forming a powerful barrier around your body that stretched and expanded outwards. The female bandit boss looked at your cast attempt cautiously. She tapped on the surface of the barrier, puzzled by your attempt to protect yourself from her next attack. She pulled her hand back, your mana was stretching the barrier go out further and further... It threatened to push her back away.

She scoffed at your attempt to ward her away. With a wave of her hand, the bandit boss used some of her own mana! A magical spell was beginning to be cast, the shimmer of magical mana glowing in her hands! "Silly mage~ It's so easy to get past that!" She said with a smug giggle, casting a spell of transparency all over herself. Her mana covered her entire body, and in a blink she shimmered with a special magical aura! She teasingly pushed her hand forward, waving it at you as she penetrated the barrier.

"Would you look at that~ I've made it through! Never count on a man to use magic properly~" Her body moved slower, but was able to begin phasing through the magical barrier. Your power was concentrated on holding the magical barrier in place, but if you didn't do something fast... She just might make it all the way through! She stepped through more, her leg fully crossing the magical barrier.
