Do you look for the bodies?

Cassia Insists

"I hate to inform you of this, Cassia." You say, looking out toward the fountain. "But I'm pretty sure your companions have already passed away. I don't think those men left any living bodies out there."

"I am aware that my friends are...most likely dead." Cassia says, trying to keep her voice steady. Occasional lilts in her tone betrayed her true emotions. "But they deserve a proper send-off to the afterlife. I am an acolyte of Apollo, remember? I can perform the proper rites of passage and I owe them at least that."

You bite your lip as you look out at the open space. It certainly looked abandoned, but you didn't trust looks for a minute. "Can...can you perform these rites quickly?"

"I can take care of them all in a few minutes." She nods.

"This is not a smart idea." You say, at least wanting your dissent to be heard.

"Please, Adonis. My friends need this or their souls may forever be stuck in the tormented hell of their own ****." She pleads, her hands clasped together. You're not sure if you subscribe to her particular brand of religion, but she makes it seem very convincing.

"Then let's be as fast as the wind." You say. "I don't know if that mob who was chasing you are still around."

"I understand." Cassia replies. She leans up on her toes and plants a chaste and quick kiss on your cheek. "Thank you, Adonis." Her lips set your skin on fire, but in a good way you can't quite explain. You don't have time to ponder it, though, because she is already heading off into town square.

Do you help her look for the bodies or act as a lookout?
