The next day at the plant, you are shown to the area where freshly assembled vehicles have just been rolled off the line and are awaiting shipment. "Hey John," The man you recognize as Fred greets you, extending his hand. You shake his hand in return, "Morning, nice to see you again. Fred, right?" You ask, checking if your memory serves you right. Fred nods, "Yep. Well, Wayne said you'd like to own one of our fine vehicles." He starts walking towards a selection of five vehicles for your selection. "Unfortunately this isn't a dealership. So if you're looking to have more options, we'll have to go there. The advantage of these choices are that they're fresh off the line, so to speak. Nobody has touched it except during the assembly and testing of the vehicle, and it's only been really driven once. Would you like me to go over your options before taking a closed look, or do you want to browse first?"

You look at the models before you. One sedan, one coupe, one truck, a van, and one luxury model. You consider your opinions before saying, "Sure, I'd like you to go over the options." Fred nods. "You got it, partner. Now as a courtesy I will let you know both MSRP as well as the price you would pay with your discount. Now the discount is pretty good, we're barely breaking even. So another advantage here is no negotiations, confusion, or stress of standard car buying. Alright, with that said, here's our standard model, the Willis Aura. It's a standard four door sedan with plenty of cabin space, and comes with a 2 liter 4 cylinder engine as standard. This car retails at 25 grand and is yours at 21. The V6 version retails at nearly 30 grand and is yours at 25 and a half."

Fred moves on to a smaller, more sportier car. "This is our coupe model, the Willis Sprite. As you can see it's a bit smaller than our sedan in basically every way. This compact hatchback has smaller interior, lighter curb weight, and smaller 1.5 liter 4 cylinder engine. It can also come in hybrid or fully electric models. The gas version retails at around 20 grand with all the fixings, but your price on this model is 16 grand."

"Thanks Fred. We can skip truck and the van, not really interested. I would like to look at a sportier model though." Fred grimaces slightly, "Well, we don't have any of those here, but perhaps this luxury model might fit." Fred walks to what is the nicest car in the collection of choices and places his hand on the hood. "This here is the Willis 900. Same model that Wayne drives. All leather interior. Heated seats, upgraded central console and entertainment center, built in gps, this car has it all. Under the hood is a powerful V6 turbocharged engine. We sell personalized assistance with this vehicle as a subscription, you get lost, need help, stuck in traffic, or are in a an accident, your Willis concierge is there to help you on the road, just push the button in the car. Now normally we charge monthly for this, but if you choose this car we will give you a free lifetime subscription. Now hold on to your jaw here because here comes the price. We sell this retail for 100 grand. Your price on this will be 80 grand. That's how much the markup is. In addition to the free lifetime subscription we will also give you a free customization option."

Your jaw just dropped at that price. There's no way you could possibly afford the Willis 900. But that had to be a hell of a deal. You mull your options in your head.

"If you need time and want a test drive, we can extend you a 24 hour test drive on any of these vehicles as a Willis employee. Take it home. Wash it. See how it looks in the driveway."

"Wow. Just wow." You say. You mull over your options some more. The coupe is the cheapest option. You can afford that hatchback no problem. You can even see yourself taking home that V6 sedan if you wanted as a stretch. But that Willis 900, that's a different animal. Plus all the free stuff they're throwing in really makes it appetizing.

"Fred, I'd like to take you up on that offer for a 24 hour test drive. I'll bring the car back here tomorrow." Fred nods, "Sure, won't be a problem. What can I get for you?"
