Anywhere else you want to go?
Carol wanted to head home
Taking the time to think the question over, Carol debated her options. On one hand, there were bound to be a variety of stores that she and Caroline could go too. thoughts of home flooded her mind.
"I wouldn't mind just going home, Caroline." Carol announced and Caroline nodded. Squeezing her mother's hand tight, she met Carol's gaze and cracked a smile.
"That works for me." Caroline announced and the pair headed off. Taking care to not drop all the bags they had bought for Carol, that was easier said than here. Yet, the mother-daughter duo managed surprisingly well. "Anything in particular you want to do once we get there?"
Carol chuckled.
"Probably relax and put away all of my new clothes." Carol answered and watched their home come into view. While a part of her wanted a place to call her own, that was likely to never happen.
Yet, the grandmother could dream. Perhaps one day a house in Littleroot Town would come on the market and she would be able to snatch it up.
For now, she let that thought fade away as the pair reached their destination.
