Carol Finds A Kindred Spirit !

Debbi wondered how much longer Carol and Sandra would keep her bent double with her bare bum facing the audience while they waited for the applause to abate. She should probably have closed her eyes but something compelled her to peer between her legs, where she could see Angela gleefully holding up her phone ! After what seemed like an age, she felt the linked arms of Carol and Sandra pulling her up to resume a standing position. Debbi did not wait to see what else might transpire but petulantly threw down the sash and bonnet that comprised her only costume and beat a hasty retreat to the rest room to get dressed again.

Meanwhile, Carol had discovered a kindred spirit in Angela. "That was so brilliant" Angela congratulated her. "And judging from that slideshow Jeff had, you've been doing a number on her regularly all year !" Carol grinned. "I try my best" she said modestly. "Well, she asks for it, swanning around the place like that" Angela continued. "That's it exactly !" Carol agreed enthusiastically. "We all get fed up with it. Yet at the same time, she can be so naive. She never seems to realise we plan all this stuff on purpose. She thinks I'm her big mate !" she laughed. Angela was enjoying this bitching session. "You should have seen her in our warehouse this week when we were explaining our spec for this software project. All the guys working there were following her about with their tongues hanging out" she complained. "That sounds just like her" said Carol. "I wonder....."

Debbi finished getting dressed and reapplying her makeup. Her first reaction had been to go straight home but she knew the importance Jeff placed on keeping these customers sweet. So she decided to put on a brave face and still go out for the free meal that had been offered. She wouldn't give Angela the satisfaction of thinking that she had been shamed by what had happened.

Angela greeted Debbi as she emerged from the rest room. "Oh Debbi, a slight change of plan. You know from your visit that the guys in our warehouse have been working just as hard over the holidays as your team ? Well, Jeff's kindly agreed with Carol and Sandra here that it'd be a great idea to go over there now and reward them too with a repeat of your great show !" Debbi's jaw dropped. "Don't worry about your costume. I've got it here in my handbag" Angela laughed !
