Careful but Hard

You come to one conclusion immediately. You could try to stand up for yourself. But doing so and not using the app would only serve you in half measures.

Technically you could just try to change Erica's dominance, to change the power balance of the house. That seems like a viable option.

But it had just as much a chance of backfiring as working out cleanly. What if you could backslide in the app? Beyond that, if you were targeting a girl, fighting with her, trying to make her seem bitchy, only to get caught, you'd be like an acrobat without a net. The app had said you seemed like you weren't a threat. If you targeted Erica and they had proof, you were a threat, and Sephora might just decide you weren't worth the hassle. Out on the street you go.

And suddenly seeming like you had grown a backbone and deserved praise from everyone would also draw attention to you. Even if you took 15 points from everybody, spread the change in dominance around, what were the chances that not a single one of them wouldn't grow annoyed with you and start pushing for a new roommate.

There was also just the simple fact, the one that the app had laid bare. You weren't the type of guy to suddenly strut in like an alpha-male. Showing control was hard, and you had absolutely no idea how to do it. You were deep in this hole. Hell, even thinking of it like this just shows how much you pity yourself, like the app said. So like a man who weighs 1000 pounds and wants to lose weight, you know one simple fact. You're going to need help.

So that means you're going to need to get your hands dirty. This path is going to involve some element of deception, some element of pushing the boundaries of consent. You're going to need to be the bad guy.

Or maybe more like the anti-hero. Erica was a toxic woman. Olivia was her accomplice, even if she was just a victim too. She could have left, she could've extracted herself, and now she was just as responsible for making your life hell as she was her own. In a way, getting back at them was only you setting the household right. They had taken your peaceful household and made it a warzone. You were just setting it right.

And if you spread it around, had multiple people involved, you could limit the damage to any single one of them. Yeah, there might be some humiliation, but when weighed against some bitch running their lives, it had to even out, right?

And once you had 50 points for the rule, you could just let the system run itself maybe, as Erica had to give up control as she was **** to contribute. If she did all of the chores, that would lower her dominance. If she was out of the house at work, she'd not have as much time to start problems. So once you had the 50 points, you could stop.

Once you had the house under control, you could stop.
