Cards

William selected a deck of cards and scattered them along the table face-down. "May I have two volunteers from the audience please?"

An elegant woman grabbed her boyfriend's hand and rushed onto the stage without being called on. The man looked horribly embarrassed to be there.

"Okay," William said. "Pick a card, but don't tell me which."

The woman made a selection and put it back in the deck. Cindy shuffled the cards around, wishing she had sleeves to hide any tricks she could use. When she was done, she held a card to William, who showed it to the couple.

"Is this your card?" He asked.

"Nope," the woman said happily.

"Oh? Really?" William was genuinely surprised. He tossed the card away towards her. It suddenly flew over her shoulder and cut through the strap on her dress. She laughed, as if she were expecting it.

William was shocked, but continued with the trick. "What about this card?"

"Nuh-uh."

William threw the other card, cutting the other strap and letting the dress fall off the woman. She stood completely nude with no underwear, but showed no shame. Her boyfriend was mortified.

"What the hell kind of place is this?!" He asked.

Cindy took the deck from William. "Let me shuffle these again."

She began brushing the cards off with her hands, sending them flying at the man. He jumped and tried to block his face, but the cards sliced his clothes to ribbons. By the final card, he was left standing in a pile of destroyed clothes and covering his crotch with his hands.

Cindy held up the final card. "Now, is THIS your card?"

"The Queen of Hearts!" The woman said. "That was my card!"

The audience applauded at the trick. The man began to inch off the stage, but his girlfriend caught his arm and dragged him into the bathroom, a lustful gleam in her eyes.

William and Cindy took a small bow to the crowd. They were beginning to get used to this.
