Cara wants to expand her wardrobe

"Yes, actually." Cara announced and sauntered over to the counter. She had an exact thing in mind here. Whether or not the antique store had what she needed, remained to be seen. "I'm looking for retro clothes like the ones I'm wearing right now."

The woman at the counter nodded and walked around to meet the crossdresser. Grabbing hold of her hand, she pulled Cara towards the back end of the store. There, the pair was met with a variety of retro and vintage outfits. All recently cleaned, Cara found her gaze bouncing about. Where could she begin with something like this?

"Is there something wrong, miss?" the woman continued and broke Cara out of her daze. Scanning her options, she grabbed a few pinafores and floral dresses. Looking beyond the dresses, her gaze shifted to that of the undergarments. Taking care to layer her picks over her arm, the crossdresser approached. While she was by no means picky, that wasn't going to stop her from making the best decisions based on the options she had on her.

Satisfied with her selection, Cara moved to the last part of her selection process - getting some shoes. Hats would be nice, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if she didn't have any of those. No, she needed some retro shoes to go with everything else she had picked out.

"Miss, could you get one of those feet measuring things?" the crossdresser called out and waited a moment for the clerk to come back. Handing her the tool in question, Cara easily measured her foot. Afterwards, her attention shifted to that of the shoe selection.

Compared to everything else, something about this felt like a harder hurdle to overcome. Not that this would stop Cara from trying. Grabbing a couple boxes, she took the time to try the footwear out. Taking the time to consider each pair, the crossdresser found herself coming to a decision.

Getting her original shoes back on, Cara brought everything to the counter. Waiting a moment for the woman to come back, that gave her more than enough time to dig into her purse and get out her money. She should have more than enough for all of this.

"Thank you for shopping here." the woman added as the transaction went through. Bagging everything up, Cara cracked a smile. Now that she had some new threads, where else could she go?
