Captured

I woke up drowsy by a lake and shaking a Peggie held me as I coughed violently to hear, "Light of God and walk through his gates into Eden!" the Peggie held my arm tightly as we walked forward to John who stopped him and growling said, "Not him, he isn't clean!" and grabbing me by the head said, "You will pay for the damage you have caused to my town!" and pushing my head under the water he held for longer than the Peggie had and being pulled her I coughed as I saw Joseph in his suit and glasses said to John, "You mock the cleansing?" John shook his head as he said apologetically, "No Joseph" causing me to cough, "Little John scared of his father!" Joseph walked up to me and grabbing my head looked into my eyes before commenting, “And Faith wanted you to be taken to hers, the damage you would have caused!” I laughed before saying, “Not really she seems more bareable compared to the rest of you! At least I would have had beauty to look at, where with you I get a Copycat, a military pyscho and cuckoo nut job!” Joseph slapped me before sticking my head back in to the water pulled me back up coughing, “You have to love them, John, don't let your sin prevent that!" he put his hand on my head again before saying, "Despite everything you have done, you aren't past salvation! You aren't hear by accident or chance, but by the grace of god! you have been given a gift, though it is to be seen whether you chose to embrace it or cast it aside!" I looked at him before responding with, "I am here for another reason!" and nodding it was almost like he knew but refused to believe it. He turned to John before saying, "This one will make the atonement, whether the gates of Edan remain to shut to you or not!" he nodded before watching Joseph leave I asked, "So, what is it? Why do you owe him?" he turned to me and went to speak, "You are doubting him aren't you?" he shook his head before grabbing me violently spat, "You will confess, every sin you have ever committed no matter how small or petty, I will pull from you and then we will see whether you are ready for atonement" and my eyes closing I forgot how I got into the van I just remembered I was there.

We were there in the van I saw two other people in there with us, "If we confess our sins right away, we will be alright, right?" the man spoke and shaking her head the girl said, "You will make it worse!" he looked at her before begging cried, "Why?" she went to speak before the Peggie who was sat here watching us said, "Because confession without pain isn't a confession, you will scream out your sins and wear it on your flesh before John peels it off of you!" the man cried and the girl nodding spat, "Fucking Peggies!" the guard turned around hit her violently with his rifle before rolling my eyes I said, "Now what your God say to this!" he looked at me and showing me the rifle end I just shrugged before looking at him said, "I have crashed in a helicopter, shot at, rammed off a bridge, blown up and crashed...you really think I am cower like them?" I looked at him before saying, "As Joseph said, 'I have a gift' but what he wants with me is the question!" the guy looked at me before asking crying, "Why is he doing this?" I thought about it before commenting, "It's obvious if you think about it. He was abused when he was younger, often people like John were abused when the are younger, manipulated and react with the same **** that was used on them. The sinning part and the flesh I am not sure on! Maybe it's the idea that when it comes to the surface only then you can be free?" the woman looked at me before saying, "They are just Psycho's!" I nodded before looking at the Peggie commented, "With weaknesses, John is the fear of disappointing Joseph and with this he tries to hide his own vulnerabilities in case Joseph uses it against him!" there were two shots and the car started to spin causing me to look at the Peggie and smile, "You see, you have Faith but I have Grace!" and as he looked Grace shot him in the head, "Your safe!" I winked and sliding out Jerome cut my binds as he ordered the other two to run, "We didn't go through all this effort just to lose you!" I nodded and Grace throwing me a rifle said, "We need to get the other's!" I nodded and walking up to the blockade started to kill the distracted Peggies before Grace throwing a grenade waited for the explosion to kill the others, "And God pointed me in the right direction!" Jerome pointed at the hill before saying, "There is more that need you help! They are being moved up the road, get what you can and move!" I nodded grabbing some ammo and explosions and picking up a shotgun was soon followed by Grace who quickly got in the thick of it.

I took cover whilst Grace started to cover me with taking our the mortars and snipers who rang around as I quickly rushed to the top of the hill and undoing some of the people's ropes saw them flee whilst Grace killing the remaining joined me on top, "Rook, good job. We are on our way, just sit tight and hold them off until we arrive!" I nodded and throwing some charges on the bridge with Grace throwing some to her right and I did to our left I simply said taking cover by the mortar, "I have a bad feeling about this!" Grace winked before kissing my cheek said, "Don't worry about it, you have been through worse!" and thinking about it ducked when we heard the first gun shots. I adjusted the mortar and dropping one in the tube heard the thump as it shot out and landing on the hill clearing them out as Grace were precision took the old trickling guard out. It was going great until they came from all sides, "Rook watch my back!" I nodded firing my shot gun and looking behind me pressed the detonator causing the charges to explode stopping the one's in front of us from crossing and grabbing a knife I threw it into the guards chest before using my hand gun to kill some of the overbearing guards, "Plan B!" Grace snapped and throwing a Yellow flare we suddenly heard the propellers of a familiar plane, "YIPPEE KI YAY, YOU PEGGIE FUCKERS!" and looking up I saw Nick fire endless rounds at the guards coming towards us, "I thought we lost you Rook! but always glad to help!" I smiled before shooting the next guard and kicking him into the next we finally heard the helicopter of Jerome start to descend, "Get on, I will cover you!" I snapped and stabbing the next guard picked up two of the guards AR-C's and firing them at all guards now coming to me I was pulled on to the Helicopter by Grace whilst Nick fired more rounds at them allowing us to take off, "Time for a big bang!" Nick yelled and dropping endless bombs from his plane we flew away as the ground lit up and smiling I breathed, "I know John's weakness!"
