Captured after work

It was a dull evening in Metropolis, which meant a boring day of looking for a story. Unfortunately for Lois Lane there was nothing that peaked her interest. A slow news cycle is bad for business, she knows this well enough of course, but with all the excitement in her life it does feel good to at least have a day to take a breather.

Superman has been with the Justice League, leading some mission out in space, meaning Lois has returned to her routes of exposing corruption full time of late rather than reporting on the exploits of the Man of Steel. On top of that it has been slower in the office without Clark Kent, her desk mate and frequent nuisance around. He left a notice with Perry that his mother back in Smallville was of ill health and that he was going to take some time off to visit her.

But now the day is done, so Lois Lane walks out of the lobby doors and onto the sidewalk. She was one of the last people to leave the office, and Sky has already turned to black when she had finally walked outside. Lois waves an arm about to call for a taxi, but instead of a yellow cab pulling up a white van parks by the sidewalk in front of her. Instantly she recognizes the danger, and she tries to run but her heel on her high heel snaps, causing her to fall backwards onto her butt.

Four men quickly exit the van, and because Lois had fallen over they easily grab her, with one covering her mouth to prevent her from screaming while the others pull her into the van.
