Captured!

With her hands cuffed behind her back in broad daylight in the middle of a crowd, Rose didn't think much of her chances of making a break for it. The crowd wasn't likely to cooperate with her running past them, and her lithe body practically begged people to make grapple checks against her in the best of times.

So she fell back to any rogues last resort: the bluff.

"No I'm not," she said. "I ain't no thief! I was just moving by when your manacles attacked me for no reason! Either your magic kink-wear's broken, or you just get off on tying folks up for fun."

Some of the crowd stopped and took notice. Good. If she could swing them her way, she just might be able to talk her way out of this.

The mage motioned her bodyguard put a beefy hand on her shoulder to keep her from running. "Hardly, pickpocket. Those manacles are enchanted to bind anyone who reaches into my purse without authorization, namely you. The only question to settle is whether I should take you the city watch where the officials can administer …" she smiled, "justice, or if we should simply work things out between ourselves."
