What happens in the pharmacy?
Candace needs to get her own prescription
Gerald parked the car and kept it warm for his hapless daughter while Janice walked into the pharmacy.
"Hello, I'm here to pick up an emergency prescription for Plan B," she told the pharmacist.
"Sure, what's first and last name?"
Janice gave the pharmacist her information and handed the note Dr. Stemkovitz had written.
"Umm, this says it's for 'Candace'."
"Oh yeah, that's my daughter."
"Well I'm afraid that she needs to appear in person herself."
"Well, um, she's kind of busy right now."
"Sorry, ma'am, no ifs, ands, or buts."
Janice sighed and walked back to the car.
"Sorry, honey, they need you to go and get the prescription yourself."
"No way!" Candace argued.
"Sorry, dear, those are their rules, not mine. Besides, they close in half an hour."
Candace weighed her options, and considered the relative significance of this little instance of public nudity after all that had happened.
