Chapter 11

What does Denni want to do?
Camp now.
"We can camp here if Yolna wants," Denni said. He tried to sound nonchalant. Truth be told, he was still shaking from the excitement.
"Finally some sense," Yolna said. Josk scowled. Or, wasn't he always like that?
"Great," Ria said. "Yolna, Brudd, Denni, the three of you can set up the tents and take a break. Hanna and Josk and I can go hunting. Can I borrow your bow, Denni?"
"Sure," Denni said. He handed it over along with his quiver before slumping down against a rock.
"What about me?" Karn said. "What do you want me to do, Ria?"
Ria was quiet for a second. Did she look uncomfortable? Without meeting Karn's eye, she said, "Make yourself useful however you want."
With that, the group went about their tasks, setting up tents and preparing a fire. Josk, Hanna, and Ria went off into the forest to find a meal. Karn, meanwhile, went off into the forest in a different direction.
Brudd turned to Denni and Yolna. "I do not trust the sorcerer," he said once Karn was out of earshot. "I will follow him. Make sure he's not up to something."
Brudd hefted his enormous axe and followed Karn into the woods, keeping his distance. Denni was surprised how stealthy the big berzerker could be.
Who do we follow now? Denni and Yolna at the campsite? Or one of the groups in the forest?
