Camp here, with consequences.

"We can camp here," Yolna conceded, though she really wished they would press on a little farther. They set up their tents above the waterfall. Hanna sketched a circle of runes into the dirt that would ward off Fay creatures. This time, Brudd kept watch over Karn, but the dark sorcerer did nothing but sleep. Yolna found herself not in the mood sex that night, and when Denni tried to join her in her tent, she sent him sulking away. She didn't even bother to listen to the sounds of Josk and Ria taking pleasure in each other's bodies, though she did wonder how Ria's sexual skills were coming along since Josk took her maidenhood. Yolna soon drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

When she woke, everything was wrong.

Yolna awoke in a different place than when she fell asleep. She was sitting propped up against a tree on the edge of their camp. Her hands held behind her as if tied, but there was no rope. When she tried to move, she found her entire body to be restrained by an unseen ****. She could see Ria and Hanna beside her, and the boys off to the side around a different tree.

A group of men were ransacking their camp. They had the look of bandits. Three were human, with patchwork armor and low-quality weapons. A fourth was larger, with greenish skin. Half-Orc. One of the humans looked Yolna's way as she woke up.

"Hey boys, the last one's awake," he said.

"Finally," another of the humans said. "I knew those charms we bought would pay off."

"What have you done to us?" Yolna demanded.

"We came in while you was sleepin'," said the first, apparently their leader. He shook a small stick at her. It was tipped with a crystal. "Cast a spell on you to keep you asleep, and another so you couldn't move."

"Release us at once!" Ria shouted.

"Karn," Hanna said, "Can you break the spell?"

"I've been trying since I woke up," Karn said. "Nothing's working. You?"

"No," Hanna said, defeat in her voice.

"That's right," said the big Half-Orc. "It's big magic. You not gonna break it."

"I think that's all the weapons, Rastan," said the third human. He had piled up all of their gear in the center of camp.

"Good work," said Rastan, the leader. "Let's not waste any more time." All four bandits turned to Yolna, Ria, and Hanna. "You found them out here, Besh. Which one do you want?"

The second human stepped forward. "I want to fuck the Valkyrie," he said. "The one with the big tits."

"I wanted her," said the Half-Orc.

"We'll all get a go, Trug," said Rastan.

"I'll kill all of you!" Brudd shouted. Rastan waved his wand, and all four of the boys went stiff. They looked like statues.

The human in the middle began to approach Yolna, fumbling with his breeches.
