Calm down enough to talk to her

You take a deep breath, and composed yourself into that of the King of the Land instead of an angry father. Upon Further thought and lust at looking at your beautiful daughter with fear in her eyes while looking so desirable, you decide to try a more subtle approach this and try to talk to her first before jumping to any rash action. Due to bursting in her room unannounced in your enraged state you have her undivided attention. Thankfully due to seeing you calm yourself down sheis less fearful of you which works just as well.

"Princess Aisha", you say in your trademark regal voice and tone."It has come to my attention that Anton, a lowly guard I personally entrusted to look after and train my eldest son Jacob, has asked for my oldest daughter's hand in marriage without the approval of his King", you finished with a neutral yet disappointed tone.

You notice that as her eyes still remain fearful she poses herself in a more defensive, defiant stance.

"Actually father, I wished to seek your approval, as mother no doubt informed you", she responded. "I'm sorry if this displeased you father, but I love him and he loves me, and wished to share this love as husband and wife.

You see through her eyes that she is being honest. She does love him, or at least she thinks she does, you think to yourself. Your quite sure that you love your daughter more than any man can and ever will. Not that you have anything personal agaisnt Anton, but he is just a simple guard he hired to prepare your son to be the crown prince and nothing more. You don't believe he is worthy of loving her or rather of her loving him. You convince yourself that she doesnt know what love is, not yet anyway, but she is about to learn.
