Calm Olivia Down

You hesitantly step up to Olivia and gently put a hand on her back, "Olivia, calm down. It's okay for Natalie to be here."

Her head jerks around angerly, "No it isn't! She's your teacher."

"My mother invited her. She treats Natalie like she's her daughter and my other sister. Even if I didn't want her to be here, she would be because of that." You internally grimace at the hurt expression on Natalie's face. It's only for a moment and you hope that she knows that you're only saying in to calm Olivia down.

"I...F-Fine. I guess you're right." Olivia slumps her shoulders in defeat.

"Go in and relax. It's my birthday, I don't want it ruined by something as small as this" She gives a little frown and nods before walking back into the living room. You turn back to Natalie, "Sorry about that Natalie."

"It's fine." she steps in the door and looks around, "So are you nerds ready to lose at tonight's gaming? If i recall, last time you all had to team up to take me down." Relief floods over you. It seems as if tonight isn't going to be a complete disaster.

Fortunately it seems as if that was the only incident of the night. The remaining night goes smoothly. The only thing that portrays the problems that occurred earlier was that occasionally Olivia would shoot an irate glance at Natalie who pretty much ignored her for the entire night.

Of course, Natalie is the master gamer of you all and it takes both you and Dean running as a distraction to bring her down.
