Calling Mom

You step out of the gym and immediately head back to the Pokemon Center, needing to get your team healed up before you head out of town to continue your journey. As Nurse Joy hands you your three pokeballs back after healing them, you debate storing one of your pokemon in the PC Storage System; you'd only ever planned to use Mankey as a counter to Brock's rock-type pokemon, and that job was now taken care of. However, you figure that having more pokemon on your team that could fight made you less **** to ending up defenseless, and besides, Mankey would be useful to counter normal or rock type pokemon you may encounter on the road.

You sit down on one of the couches in the Pokemon Center waiting room, trying to keep yourself from bouncing up and down. The feeling of excitement and pride from winning your first gym badge still hasn't faded away, and you decide you can't wait any longer; you have to phone your mom and tell her the good news.

"Amber I'm so proud of you!" she squeals as you tell her what's just happened, and even more pride surges through you; all your life you'd felt like your mom had been holding you back from setting out your journey out of fear for your safety, so her being genuinely proud of something you'd done as a trainer felt incredible. You realise you're almost crying as you respond to her.

"Thanks, mom," you say, rubbing at your eyes to stop the tears from forming.

"I really mean it, honey, this is so incredible! I'm going to tell everyone in town that my daughter is a future champion!"

You have a stupid grin on your face that everyone in the Pokemon Center can see, but you don't care; hearing all this is so affirming for you. "Make sure you let Daisy know," you tell your mom, remembering the blond girl's encouraging words to you back in Viridian City.

"Oh, she'll be one of the first I tell," replies your mom. "Right after her grandfather. He was so sure you'd end up back here in a couple of days; he even showed me some disgusting texts from Blue where he said he'd already taken your virginity and was convinced he'd got you pregnant!" Your grin is replaced with a grimace of pure anger as you process what your mom's just told you. That piece of shit! Blue had told Professor Oak about your battle! You bet the whole town knows about you getting fucked by now!

Your mom is, of course, completely oblivious to your rage, and she keeps talking. "Well, I told the professor that I don't believe a word his grandson says! I told him that you had condoms with you and that there's no way Blue would have beaten you in a battle in the first place!"

Shame floods through you and almost completely overrides your previous good mood. Blue had beaten you in a battle, in dominant, humiliating fashion, and you had then offered precious little resistance to him fucking you without a condom and making you cum; for all you know you are pregnant with his baby. The thought makes you want to throw up in your mouth a little.

Of course, you can't tell your mom any of this, not when she's so proud of you, so instead you thank her and assure that everything's going well. Once you've both said how much you love each other a whole bunch of times and the conversation is over, you shove your phone back in your bag and defiantly get up off the couch, forcing yourself to turn your shame into determination. You had still won your first gym badge, you were still making good progress on your journey as a pokemon trainer. If anything that conversation with your mom had snapped you out of celebration mode; now it was time to get going, and prove that that loss to Blue back in Pallet Town was nothing more than a fluke...
