Call someone

“I think we should call someone,” Ashley finally said. “Sure, it’ll be embarrassing but…it would be better than going with a stranger, right? I’d value my safety over embarrassment.” Veronica seemed to chew on this for a while before she eventually nodded.

“Who should make the call, and who should they call?” Veronica asked, and the two girls stared at each other as Ashley thought about it. If Veronica made the call, she could call her friends which may lead to trouble for Ashley, even if she now had blackmail photos. If Ashley called, she could call James (which would be awkward), her father (even more awkward), or maybe even her brother.
