Call out for help.

"Hello." You call out. "I don't know what's going on."

"Oh my God!" Jane walks into your room in her pyjamas and looks around at the changes. "It really worked."

"What's going on Jane?" You demand. "What did you do?"

"I found this weird store yesterday, after you told me about your new job." She explains. "The guy in there somehow knew I was upset about you moving away. He said he had a way for me to keep you here."

"And what's that?" You play along despite not believing a word of this.

"It was a baby's rattle in the shape of a {if Girl=true}pink {endif}magic wand." She says. "He explained that if I shook it while concentrating on someone I could change reality around them so that they lived like a baby{if Girl=true} girl{endif}."

"So you used it on me?" You ask.

{if Kate=true}"And Kate. I wanted you two to still be able to be together."{else}"Yes."{endif} she says. "To everyone but me, you're a baby {if Girl=true} girl{endif}."

"So I look like a baby to everyone else?" You ask.

"No." She says. "They still see what you really look like. They just think you are a baby and nothing you can do will convince them you aren't."

"And where do the over-sized diapers come from?" You ask, still looking for a slip up to show she doesn't really believe what she's telling you.

The magic makes it so that anything you need is always available in your size right next to the normal baby things." She explains with a smile. "Even furniture." She indicates the cot and changing table."

"You've gone to a lot of effort for this prank." You say.

"It's not a prank." She insists. "If you don't believe me call for Mom."
