Call it a night

You help her back to your car, and you head back for school, driving in silence as she catches her breath and stares out the window. “Um, I hope you don’t think this means…” she finally says as you pull into the campus.

You’ve been watching her work up to this from the corner of your eye for a while. “You just wanna be fuckbuddies, I’m not gonna complain,” you say. “I got off, you got off, no need to get complicated.”

“Goodnight, Mr. Sharp,” she says before she turns to go. You watch her for a minute, clutching her blouse closed and her skirt still in disarray, before you get out of the car and walk away yourself.

You head back to your place with a bit of a spring in your step, enjoying the cool evening air. You let yourself in and lay down on the couch to catch your breath before deciding to take a nap. You’ve still got a long night to go, if Valarie wasn’t lying to you. That stupid little slut better not have been, you think as you set your alarm.
