Call it a Night, Day Two

Barbara woke up at 6:02AM before her alarm had even gone off she took several minutes to wake up when she was out of bed she went to her closet and picked through to find an outfit, she layed a cropped pink tee-shirt with the logo of a defunct bubblegum company fading on the chest on the bed and paired it with oversized jeans that she held up with a chunky belt, she then went into her bedside drawer and pulled out a pair of white socks light green panties and a white 32A-cup bra, she got dressed and went downstairs for coffee at 6:22AM.

In the Kitchen her dad was filling a paper to-go cup with coffee,

"Morning honey" He said as he tried to **** the plastic lid on top,

"Morning, any coffee left?" Barbara asked she pulled a bagel from the fridge,

"I don't think so I'm sorry" The Commissioner apologized he was passing the cup to his other hand as he pulled on his coat, Barbara handed him the bagel,

"It's alright I'll just make another cup" She said with a smile,

"Thank you I love sweetheart" He kissed her on the forehead and left, when he was gone Barbara started the coffee maker again and waited for it to fill before grabbing her bag, filling a reusable to-go cup and heading to school.

"Red" Barbara turned to see a seventeen year old girl with bright red hair and black rimmed glasses wearing short tattered white-wash shorts that were barely visible under her oversized green pullover hoodie, Barbara sighed,

"Hey Ivy?" She had become friendly with Pamela Isley throughout middle school but in the year between when she had started highschool and Pamela had started something had happened, by the time Pamela started highschool her views about the environment were becoming ****, and only a couple months in she had been arrested for her even more **** and illegal efforts to help combat companies that were negatively effecting it, since then she had been in and out of the Arkham Juvenile Correction Center and had been released again only a week earlier.

"How was Arkham, again?" Barbara asked Pamela looked unamused,

"Smoggy like the rest of the city, I need a favor" She said Barbara groaned internally,

"Ivy I'm not becoming an accessory to your next crime" She answered,

"I just need you to hold onto something for me" Pamela said Barbara looked at her skeptically,

"What?" She asked Pamela pulled a metal lockbox the size of an encyclopedia out of her backpack Barbara took it and weighed it in her hand, it wasn't that heavy maybe a book inside but most of the weight seemed to be the metal itself,

"What is it?" She asked shaking it a little there was a little rattling it felt like something bigger with a smaller glass item,

"Gentle" Pamela warned her eyes focusing on the box with a little panic before she looked back at Barbara "It's my journal" She answered,

"And why can't you keep it?" Barbara asked,

"It has some important information about some tests I've done, it's only a matter of time before they try me as an adult and I get lost in the system or mysteriously kill myself in prison and I don't want them getting their hands on that" Pamela explained "Now can I trust you to keep it safe?" She asked.

During the day you will be given choices that can directly effect future days/nights, some choices can contribute to Barbara's "Bonds" while others will effect her performance while fighting crime, choosing to skip days will eliminate possible gear/crimes/character interactions and set you on the default read-through.
