Call Jim

Valerie gritted her teeth after going through all her options. She didn't want to do it, but one person seeing her naked was infinitely preferable to the entire office seeing her in all her glory. Besides, he had already applied bodypaint on her once, and she was just as naked then as she was now. She picked up her phone and called his number.

"Valerie!", said Jim on the other end. "Been a while! How's it going?"

"Great!", she replied. After the pleasantries were over, she asked, "Hey, would you know anything about this new suit I'm assigned? I have to wear it for my next mission."

"Ah, you must mean the S.R.L.B. suit!", he replied eagerly. On hearing Valerie's response - or rather, the lack of it - he continued "Ahem. It stands for Self Repairing Light Blocking Suit. Still workshopping the name to be honest, but I'll have time once the prototype has a successful field test."

Valerie grinned. Jackpot. "So, you do know about it?"

"Know about it? I'm the principal engineer of the damn thing! Of course I know about it!" exclaimed Jim. "Why don't you drop by my lab and I'll show you all its features?"

"About that...listen, I need a favor." Valerie bit her lip. "I need the suit, but I can't come to the lab. Is there any chance you can bring it to me?"

He paused. "I don't know about that. I got a busy schedule, tons of work to do..."

"Please.", she pleaded. "I'll make it worth your while. Promise."

He sighed. "Fine, if you insist. This better be important."

Valerie breathed a sigh of relief. "Thanks a ton, Jim! East wing, top floor, room 6B. You can show me all the features there. See you in 15!"

Valerie cut the phone. Since Iris wouldn't like her inviting Jim to her place, she had done the next best thing - pick out a secluded office not too far away where she could meet Jim in secret. However, she was far from clear just yet - she still had to make her way to that office.

As she stood at the exit, she prayed she could do it without incident.
