Norris had safely made his way through the portal as he was covering his eyes from the bright light of the portal. Once it closed and his eyes readjusted to his new surroundings, he was surprised to find...a street. He seemed to be on a street corner of a fossil fuel reliant city. "Uuuh...a bit underwhelming to see an old school town after the grandiose light show" He was about to cross the street when someone roughly pulled him back by the shirt, landing him on his ass, but before he could admonish them, saw why they did so. The very cross walk he was about to pass was stomped on by a giant mech running through the streets. Norris then sheepishly rubbed the back of his head as he looked up at his savior "Ah thanks. Guess I need to be more aware of my surroundings"

His tentative smile became a frightened grimace as he looked up at a scowling blonde young woman in a pink dress that has a yellow flower on it. She responded to him with an annoyed monotone "You should watch where you're going. Seriously. Someone gets a teleporter and suddenly think they can go anywhere" Teleporter? Despite the late twentieth to early twenty-first century aesthetic, it seems this reality has some impressive tech. He got up onto his feet and extended a hand for a shake. Unaware of the soft hum of his necklace "Sorry about that. I'm Norris. and you are...?" The menacing cutie shook his hand with the slightest hint of a blush but still frowning "Mandy. Don't expect me to save your cute-uh-fat ass again. Though I can get you a good word for whichever after life you want" Norris didn't exactly know what she meant by that but the blush was a cute addition to her oddly clear skin.

"Well glad you saved me either way. I'm new to town so don't know the layout yet...Maybe you could show me around town?" Mandy rolled her eyes at the obvious attempt to get into her non-existent pants. Though found herself mulling over the question before giving her answer.
