CIS

Confederacy of Independent Systems.

A faction created to oppose decadent Republic and its corruption. Many of CIS members are fighting for their freedom against tyrannical rule of Republic. Others fight to boost their wealth, for power or for vengeance. Clones are seen as nothing more than droids, a disposable army... as well as one more proof of Republic's decadence.

Most notable members of CIS are Count Dooku of Sereno, general Grevious, minister Nute Gunray and general and dark acolyte Sev'rance Tann. But there are numerous others: politicians, soldiers, officers, droids and apprentices of Dooku.
