CH1: The Neutralists

I wander around and try to avoid others. Suddenly there’s people walking around, armed and usually in pairs. I am alone and I’ve not found a gun to my name. I try to make my way past the rec room which seems to be congested by a group of girls. I recognize some of them. One has red hair, the other is that beautiful blonde from earlier. There’s also one with a nice shade of light brown hair. She seems to have things under control and I see her pick up a shotgun from a table and showing it to her friends. It’s something that scares me enough to not want to go any nearer. I hear the names Esmeralda and Lorelei being thrown around.

I sneak around and come to an opening. It looks like the bathrooms of the second floor. They have a bit of an open area around it with tables and such. I explore a room to the side and find a single blue box but as I do another person enters the room. She has platinum blonde hair and she wears blue with a black hair band. She doesn’t look like she has a gun on her and she instantly turns around and sprints as she sees me. I hope she doesn’t have scary friends and quickly check the box. It’s a thick box. Not that big otherwise. But inside I finally find another gun. It’s not small either. It looks like a tactical submachine gun. I examine it and find two places for ammo on it. Looks like it has more space for shots than the pistol. I try it out and find that it shoots faster than a pistol although the dot on the wall seems very small.

I get out of the room and go to the bathroom area, fully expecting for someone to pop out. Then I see it. There’s a sign on the wall. It’s just like the blue and pink lights everywhere else, just green in color. It spells out “safe”. I am not truly convinced and get closer. As I do, I hear chatter from the bathrooms and then someone walks out. It’s that hairband girl again! I aim at her and she puts her arms up: “Don’t! It’s a safe zone!”

Then I hear it, the intercom. “Hanna-Erin has been eliminated by Arleth” I have not heard that before and neither has anyone else. The hairband girl seems just as surprised as I do. I do not recognize those names. But something definitely happened somewhere. The girl holding her arms up looks at me sternly: “No guns here. You’ll get eliminated if you shoot. It’s not worth it.” She is not armed and I can’t imagine any of the players would’ve had time to set up a neon light like this here – it must be a part of the game. “O-ok… just… is there somebody with a gun in there who’s going to shoot me?” I ask nervously and she shakes her head. “We’re the neutral group. We’re trying to figure out how to play this game properly. Ok? We don’t want to just eliminate you, got it?” She seems pretty level-headed and I trust her and follow her inside the girls bathroom.

It’s full of people. Well, for the standards of the game. I can count 3 just hanging around by the sinks. There’s an orange haired girl laughing with a blonde with glasses. There’s also a brunette who walks up to the girl who’s with me and leans in and kisses her: “I thought you were going to get killed out there again, you fool.” She says in a honeyed voice and the girl with the hair band kisses her back.

I did not expect there to be lovers in the game. What a luck that two futanari girls with a birth defect happen to fall in love? I also don’t know what to think about these people. It’s nice to be safe somewhere, but it’s hard to justify sitting here. I walk past all the people and find the last stall open. I peek inside and find a girl tinkering on something while sitting on the stool. I know her, it’s Wicky. The girl from Grace’s school. The one with… with that awful dysmorphia. She has a white suit and bright blue eyes.
