By following orders.

“Sir.” She nodded heading out of the ship, and out into the camp.

Glancing to her left, she saw the sniper up on the damaged wing, nimbly slipping up toward the top of the ship. Ledford was watching him with a keen eye. Walking up to her, she smiled. “He has a nice butt.”

“He hasn't made any advances on me yet, though I think he just likes to take his time.” She smiled.

“You could make the first move.” Alice smirked.

“Yeah, cause I don't spend enough time on my knees.” Ledford rolled her eyes.

“I'm Alice Kane.” The busty knight smiled.

“A noble.” She replied surprised.

“Got to get my feet wet sometime.” Alice giggled.

“It was my ass you were checking out, and I know you're wet.” She smirked back.

“You're not wrong, but right now we have orders. You're coming with me, we have to scout a safe path to the mountain.” Kane smiled pointing to the west.

“Yes mama.” She nodded turning back to the sniper, who was at the top of the ship now. “Paskal, I have new orders, you mind using Mulder?” She asked over coms.

The sniper gave her the thumbs up, and started walking along the ship in the general direction of the Goliath like man. “What's he doing?” Alice asked curiously.

“Checking sight lines so he can take over watch.” Ledford replied.

Alice nodded tucking that note away in her mind. Turning she glanced at the infantry. Three were at the edge of the clearing watching for trouble while two of them were helping Mulder set up the camp.

“Das, Roach, on me.” She called out. The two men walked over to her, blasters in hand. Roach was a blonde man, with a severe face, Das was a brunette with a much more relaxed face, but his eyes were always scanning the area. “We're heading out of the LZ, to scout the area.”

“Yes mam.” The two said in unison.

The four of them moved out into the forest, with Ledford leading the way. The **** knight followed a few feet behind, so as to not interfere as she picked their path through the woods. The other two hung back, watching for trouble, though she guessed they were checking out their asses now and then as well.

As the trek continued, and time started to slip by, Alice had become relaxed though still vigilant. The soldiers behind her had eased their posture as well, though Ledford stayed the same, calm and collected, observing every detail. Suddenly she threw her fist in the air, bringing the group to a halt. Crouching near a tree she looked out into a nearby clearing.

Alice paused for a moment before slipping quietly up to where she was. Looking into the clearing, they saw a herd of quadrupeds grazing on the grass. They were huge, eight feet in length and about five feet tall. They had huge antlers extending from a bone crest that covered their head from tip to snout. Two long sets of hair fell like paired beards, below their chins.

Alice smiled softly. “Kind of look like the elk I've seen in the Xeno Zoo.”

“Do you miss Hellforge?” The scout asked with a bemused smile.
