They were two hours into their journey when they had found the alien animals, and it took another two hours before they came to a large stream of water. The four of them spread out, glancing around for any sign of trouble, but none presented itself. Slipping over to the flowing water, Alice placed her hand just above it, and reached out with her mind. Her eyes glowed a soft red color, as did her left hand.

Glancing up as the glow died down, she shrugged. “I'm not detecting any toxins, do you have a sampler?”

Octavia nodded, pulling out a small metal vial and slipping it into the water. Closing the lid, she shook it, and waited. When the light turned blue, she smiled. “Seems good.”

Roach grinned lecherously. “Oh good I've been dying to see you naked.”

“Not going to happen.” Alice smiled back at him.
