Spending time with Jessica in her bed was a great situation, but a shower might be even better... It would also help me negate what I felt was surely a coming realization that what she was smelling wasn't her own sweat. As such, I agreed with her reasoning.

"Okay. Well, then, I'm gonna get to it... It's probably better if you aren't wandering around the mansion without me escorting you, s-so... wait here until I'm done, all right?" She rose and bowed apologetically and awkwardly.

I noted the still-rising color in her cheeks. It probably hadn't escaped her that she'd just asked a man to patiently hang out in her room with nothing to entertain himself with while only a door separated the two of us.

Our eyes met, and I'm sure she had the same thought. She shut her eyes and grinned to break contact. "I-I-I'm quick! Gimme just two shakes!" She turned and escaped into the bathroom.

... I didn't hear a lock. Maybe the personal restrooms here didn't have them? Maybe she simply forgot in her excitement? Regardless, that meant that a simple turn of the knob was all I needed to enter a steamy situation...
