...But, Not Too

However, Kaori’s stubborn refusal to see the validity of her own pleasure only made you more determined to make her agree. You asked her again and again if an open marriage would be something she wanted. To further emphasize the point, you asked her to stop trying to give an answer that would be best for you. She should just assume, for a moment, that you were totally comfortable with the idea. In that case, would it be something she’d want?

“You’re saying you’re really really okay with it? It wouldn’t make you sad at all?”

You nodded your head.{if Male = true}

“Well, so long as you’re okay with it…it could be exciting. But, it would have to be a boy who wasn’t, you know, like you. Someone who would be, uh, rough with me. Who’d get really really…d-dirty…”{endif}{if Female = true}

“Uhm, what if I said that it would be with a….with a boy. Would that still be okay? I’m getting all the girl time I could ever want with you. But, maybeeeee, it would be nice to, erm, do stuff with a boy sometimes too.”

You frowned softly. You had expected this response, but it still strung a bit to hear. If this was to fulfill her unmet fantasies, there was no fantasy you were less able to meet then sex with a man. Part of it felt like a betrayal, a challenge to your identity as lovers in a sapphic marriage. But, so long as she was doing it on the side...and you could stay well far away…

…well, you could tolerate that, right? At least for a short period of time.{endif}

After a long and detailed conversation, she accepted that it might be the only way to save your sexual relationship. So, together, you outlined an agreement. You were to open the relationship to allow her to sleep with one man of her choice, provided you approved of him first. But, it would only be temporary. After a few months, and she was satisfied with her exploration, it would be a return to monogamous matrimony.

With the terms settled, you leaned back in your chair and breathed a sigh of relief. Your marriage seemed safe. But, before you had time to actually enjoy the feeling, she admitted something to you. From the moment you'd explained your proposal, there was one man who immediately came to her head...
