Busk for extra cash

Well she was going to need some money in her pocket when she reached L.A. and she also needed to practice, perhaps busking would be the best of both worlds. After all thought Claire, how would she ever be able to make a name for herself on the big stage if she couldn’t perform in public. So with that in mind she picked up her guitar, headed to the local mall and started playing.

Most people ignored her to start with, but after a couple of people put some money in her guitar case her nerves settled and she could really get in to what she was doing and started singing as well. As her confidence grew, so did her bank balance with numerous people throwing cash in and stopping to listen.

After about 3 hours she needed a break and a glass of water, the crowds had almost completely disappeared now anyway so she decided to stop. Claire checked her earning and found that she was up $60 which would do quite nicely.

Just then a couple of guys who were walking buy stopped to check her out. “Hey girl we want to check out your talent, give us a show” they leered with a chuckle, clearly meaning it as innuendo.
